Club Seafood from Chang-He (Great Egret) Chinese Take Out is a great deal and very satisfying. The dish comes with lobster, shrimp, vegetables, and rice — generous portions with lots of flavor. The listed price is $17.25, but the owner, Chen-Chen, gave it to me for $15 that day, making it an even better value. For the price, I couldn’t ask for more. Filling, tasty, and worth every penny. I’ll definitely be back.

I almost ran out of hope of ever finding good restaurants in Atlantic City that won’t break my bank, so I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. As many reviews have claimed, do not get turned off by the facade. The restaurant only has one table and two chairs inside, but during my visit there were streams of locals ordering take outs.
Firstly, the fried chicken gizzards were out of this world. They’re well seasoned and crunchy, with generous portion for appetizer. I also ordered the meal, which comes with one carb option and three small entree options. I found the pork fried rice to be oily, so I stuck with steamed rice. For entrees, I would recommend pork rib tips, fried chicken wings, and teriyaki chicken skewers. The beef and broccoli was okay, I found the broccoli to have been overcooked to death, but taste may vary.
I loved the food so much that I ended up eating there three times during my weeklong stay. Definitely a hidden gem!

Good value for takeout. Generous portions and friendly staff. Takeout only – hence the lowly atmosphere rating. Fried chicken is good – albeit a bit oily. I also heard (from a fellow takeout patron) the half chicken is good although I did not order.

Best to have cash on hand to avoid using the ATM which charges $1.99 fee on top of whatever your bank charges for withdrawals since most of the snacks / meals range from $4 – $11.
Waited around 15 minutes for my order. Food was cooked fresh in wok and was still very hot after an hour.
Chicken wings, fried scallops, chicken nuggets and beef on a stick are delicious.
Ordered 2 of the combos along with chicken and broccoli with egg roll.

honestly, food was 10/10.
chicken wings was great , homemade iced tea was spectacular, broccoli was soft, sauce was good. I have no complaints. prices were fairly reasonable. definitely one of the best Chinese food spots I have tasted in Atlantic City. It is cash & to go only — they have an ATM incase. Still worth it !

Omg..please don’t let the atmosphere deter you..I swear probably THE BEST chinese I’ve ever had in my life. The guy behind the counter making our food was cool as hell and honest about the portions and prices on the menu. We will most definitely be stopping here every AC trip we make! Mine was the pick 3 combo w/shrimp fried rice and as you can see my husband already housed his chicken gizzard chicken fried rice platter..lol.

Visited AC for the weekend and found this gem. We had fast, friendly service and received our food as ordered. The food was delicious and cooked well. Ordered the beef with broccoli and it was cooked perfectly. Beef was tender and the broccoli still had a nice crunch. Chicken wings were fried just right and the rice was delicious. Will definitely be back!

I tried this place last night for the first time because I’m in town from Upstate NY. When I tell you the Fried Chicken and Shrimp fried rice was SO GOOD IM GOING BACK TODAY! 1000/10. Highly recommend! They only take cash so be prepared!
