Got a breakfast sandwiches and don’t really have much to say except it looked disgusting. Burnt cheese with gross looking bacon and sausage on a rubbery pretzel bun. Coffee was also not great and tasted very watered down. Got an iced americano and cold brew. We will not be back. Waste of money.

Amazing coffee, my god! Just left & it is so good l had to pull over to leave a review. Got the iced caramel macchiato and truly one of the best I’ve ever had. The ocean roll is fabulous, too. The sausage sammich with the chipotle sauce was nothing special, almost tasted like something from a Bob Evan’s package from the store. Buuuut that doesn’t matter because overall this place is amazing! I’m so tired of mediocre, overpriced coffee and this place is no let down. Worth the stop!

My husband and I ordered two hot Breves and we both commented several times on how good they tasted. Perfect temperature and flavor. It was our first time here. Super good!

I came through on Joseph Days weekend for tribal youth work (tough time for the locals from who I’ve spoken with and a lot of folks try to get away from town at this time due to the increased tourism). Despite the increased traffic, nobody was at hurricane coffee when I pulled in or for the entire time I was served (about 12pm). There were 2 gals slinging drinks. I’m confused how this happened and I can only speculate and consider the worst case scenario, but somehow plastic – from a plastic lid or part of a cup or something – seems to be blended up into one of my drinks. I come down to the area often from Nez Perce reservation. I’m native and look it. I really don’t want to think this was intentional but I have to consider all options here because… how does so much plastic get blended up into a drink? I feel so bad. I got the drink for my husband who was coming off a guided hike for our tribal youth. It’s hot. I give him his blended London fog and he gave it back to me and said “look, it’s plastic” and he had already slurped down nearly half of his drink. I have never felt any racism from anyone in Wallowa county before, so this was a shock. My family and I have done a lot of collaborative work in the area to help a very special place we all call home. I’m named after my great grandmother who originally lived in the area before she fled during the Nez Perce war of 1877. This is supposed to be a celebratory weekend. And I just can’t get it out of my head and heart the possibility that this could have been done intentionally. I love hurricane coffee. Anytime I come over for work or play, I stop in. I bought 2 blended drinks, and with the price plus $4 tip, it was $24 total. I hope the owners or manager can reach out and help make this right. I plan on straining the drink to see if I can identify what exactly it could have been because there are some pretty large chunks even which might help us figure out what my husband drank. I didn’t notice anything in the drink I had which was a chai. My husband definitely drank a ~healthy~ dose of plastic. I would have gone back through to get some clarity in a tactful way, but I just finished with my work day in town and they’re closed. Picture attached had whatever clear hard plastic was blended. The drink in the picture is completely melted so the floating chunks are plastic. I’ll edit later to add what was strained…

I’m not sure where they’re getting their beans, but this is about the most burnt coffee I’ve had. We got hot lattes here a couple of years ago that were pretty bad. Stopped in yesterday thinking we’d get them iced and maybe they’d be better. Nope, still just very burnt. I know almost all coffee places over roast their beans, but these are pretty bad I’m sorry to say

Best coffee made just the way I like it no matter who’s running the machine
No tables no seating, indoor or otherwise, it’s a drive/walk/bike up coffee stand.

Sad to discover the B&G is now only served on Mondays. The Pancake, Bacon, Nuttella wrap and Peppermint Bark Mocha were amazing! Quality food and service. Will definitely be back.

Coffeee, yum! Boyfriend and I stopped by on our way back to Portland from Buckhorn campground/Zumwalt Prairie, as I simply cannot begin a long drive without a delicious drinkable treat! I got a mocha with oat milk and it was super tasty! I’m not allergic, I just prefer oat milk, and the barista was so sweet, asking if it was OK that the whip cream had real milk. My boyfriend got drip. Unfortunately, they filled it too full, and so when he got it, it was dripping hot coffee onto his hand from under the rim of the cup. He wiggled the lid off and ended up spilling more of the hot coffee on his hand. They gave us a bigger cup, lots of napkins, and were concerned. No lasting burns, so this isn’t a complaint and shouldn’t be taken as such. Just make sure that you are careful if you get hot coffee it might drip a little. I believe this was the work of a defective lid, cuz who wouldn’t want more coffee? We appreciated their concern. Definitely stop by, such tasty coffee even way out in Wallowa Co!
