I really hate to give a business one star. The service was great. The atmosphere was okay. I was really unhappy with the food and so, I’m giving 2 stars. I believe that I ordered the Szechuan shrimp with shrimp fried rice. I have had Chinese fried rice from various restaurants, mostly in the CT and NY areas and never had fluffy yellow fried, but that’s okay and not the real issue. The issue is that my rice was soaked in the Szechuan sauce and nearly soupy. Usually, the extra sauce would be drained off with just a bit over the dish side while rice side remained dry. Never, have I ever had a dish served this way. It was disgusting. I couldn’t even it it – had to throw it away.
I’m not from the area. I was passing through. I saw the sign on the interstate and stopped. I’m not sure if this is how the locals like their rice. If so, they should have asked what my preference was.

I order take out from here all the time, have for the past 10 or so years, and the food has always been great. The food is made quickly and the staff is friendly. They were recently closed for about a month (which, by the way, they don’t owe customers a “notice” to take time off, what????) and I missed them greatly. I had a Chinese food craving during their absence and I patiently waited for them to come back because I enjoy their food that much and want to support their business.

I’ve had this twice now, first experience was okay I got general tsos. This time was much better, I ordered the szechuan chicken and was great! I’m pretty picky with general tsos, so I wanted to give it a second chance and did not disappoint.
