Food was horrible. I ordered doordash and ordered the Thanksgiving sub and this is what I received. A stuffing sandwich with a tablespoon of gravy. Disgusting. Save your money, it’s nothing like any add.

Spent 20 minutes inside waiting to order. 3 couples waiting to order. No acknowledgment just steady looking down building sandwiches. After 20 minutes, all of us waiting to order walked out. I ask one of them why they were so busy non one could take our order. They responded they were too busy making on line orders.

A message to the person that owns the Firehouse franchise in Starkville—fire your managers. My 80 year old mother and I were out and about on Sunday, March 23rd so we decided to get a quick sandwich. There was only one table occupied in the reataurant so these people were hardly swamped.. We were told by a middle-aged African-American woman that we couldn’t order because they were only accepting orders through their website. This is such a foolish way of doing business, especially when they have practically no customers anyway.. Two months ago I was told they had run out of practically all their meat and didn’t get anything on that day either. On the one occasion I had gotten a sandwich successfully over the past three months, the sandwich didn’t have all the ingredients I knew it was supposed to have. Suffice to say, we won’t be getting anything from the Starkville Firehouse ever again.

This location recently changed their recipes & ingredients. The bread is much smaller than last time I was here, and tastes like it’s from Walmart. The amount of meat on each sandwich appears to be reduced. Two medium sandwiches plus a kids meal cost me $40, and all three of us were still hungry after we finished.

On top of that, their payment station gave me a prompt “recommending” a 20 – 25% tip… For what? I order at a counter, I have to pick up my own food, and I have to clean my own table… Who are you recommending I tip, and why?

This establishment advertises gluten-free bread for their sandwiches. However, when attempting to order delivery via DoorDash, I’m unable to select the gluten-free option for bread. Despite informing the manager, they claim there’s nothing they can do. It’s unfortunate that due to a technical issue with their delivery system, I’m unable to continue ordering from them. It’s disappointing to lose a customer in this manner.
