It was a really nice atmosphere
We had good food. My veal piccata was greaty mom’s linguine and clams was as well. My sis had a veal on cream sauce and it was a little bland so we asked for parsley to freshen it up as well as block pepper and a little whit wine and they were of parsley but gave us dried. Ok. Nice little limoncello dessert. Good service!

Love going to Isabella’s! Best Italian food around.

Isabella’s Bistro in Englewood is our go-to place for Italian food. It’s an hour and change drive each way, but absolutely worth it. To start, the owners, Tommy and Sandy, will treat you like family. Tommy used to own a restaurant in New York that we would frequent often. They want their guests to enjoy the time there as well as enjoy their food. We have had Cindy and Gracie as our servers. Both of them will go above and beyond to make sure you have everything that you need. I highly recommend the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. The shrimp and pasta are cooked perfectly. Spicy but not overpowering. The Chicken Parmesean is a favorite as well. The Fresco Mozzarella appetizer is a great starter. The blue cheese salad dressing is homemade. To close out the meal, try the Tiramasu and espresso. ☕️ The pictures that I’m sharing are some of what we’ve had there. I will take pictures on our next trip there.

So excited to find this restaurant! My husband had the chicken picatta and I had the shrimp francais. Both dishes were among the best we’ve had in the area! Service was great and I love that you can make a reservation for dining! We can’t wait to return and try more of their fabulous Italian menu!

I went with a few friends for the first time recently. I had the Caprese salad for a starter, Chicken Picatta and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious. I would go again. Please note they only serve beer and wine.

Server was very good, friendly, made us feel welcome. Atmosphere was nice, not formal, people came in jean shorts. Food was decent but I’ve had better at other establishments. Must have a reservation or eat at the small bar.

We have been here three times over three years. They have consistently served the selected menu item to someone incorrectly. The first time my wife ordered the special of chicken and gnocchi. It was served with no chicken. When we challenged the mistake, the waitress tried to say the chicken was in the gnocchi. When we did get the chicken breast it was just dropped off at the table on a plate , no sauce , nothing. Last year one of my guests ordered shrimp and scallops pasta. We were informed they ran out of scallops and he would get extra shrimp instead. When served there was no extra shrimp. This year, a week ago, they were not busy , not rushed, still the same problem. Three of us ordered the sea scallops with choice of pasta ($32.00). All three were served shrimp and scallops ($28.00). When the order was questioned, we were told that is the way it comes. The menu says scallops, no check ticket said scallops. Plus one of the orders came with linguine instead of angel hair pasta. When the check came all three people were charged the $32.00 for scallops. Unfortunately, I am afraid that three strikes you are out applies here. They have a problem in their kitchen or wait staff.

We were so impressed with the service and the quality of the food. It was very delicious. We were in town for two days for a family funeral and the owners of Isabella’s were able to cater an incredible meal for about 30 people within less than 24 hours notice. We will forever be grateful to your kindness. We loved it all…. And everyone enjoyed the food very much!

Hubby & I had dinner Fri Aug 9th. The food & staff were incredible. Hubby had the manicotti & I had the special, Chicken Chardonnay. Both meals were fantastic. My salad & blue cheese dressing was fresh & Yale had the lentil soup.. very tasty. So glad we went when we did as they are closed for a month & Friday was the last service before vacation. We will definitely be back.
