Got take out chicken general tso with fried rice. The friend chicken tasted like long John silvers chicken and breading and the fried rice mostly tasted like the soy sauce…like the lid accidentally came off and they said “whatever, it’s just a little extra.” Saving grace for the other star, was they said it would take 10-15 mins and it was ready when we picked up 15 mins later and as previous posters have said they’re super friendly. New owners, new recipes, new tastes? Wonder what the old ones tasted like.

What a hidden gem!! The food was so fresh and delicious! Crab Rangoon was the star of the show but the general Tso’s chicken was so crispy even drenched in sauce. We have ate here twice since we moved her in November. Prices are very reasonable also. I would give 10 stars if I could. Also very friendly staff.

My husband is a truck driver and he loves Shrimp Fried Rice. He travels most of the month all over the country so when he stops, I’ll often Door Dash him from any Chinese Restaurant local to the truck stop he’s at.
On 10/4/25, we ordered from China Garden and the rice must have been something special because he made several statements. I saw it and asked him how it was because it really did look like it had A LOT of flavor. He first said “it’s alright.” He kept eating and then said “this is definitely one of the better ones I’ve had.” Toward the end, he said “This is one of the best ones I’ve had.” For him to say that def meant I needed to do a review.
He also got Shrimp and Broccoli in a spicy brown sauce, but I didn’t ask him how it was. I am sure it was good though as he didn’t say anything and he always tells me when the food isn’t great.
I got plain Lo Mein noodles and they were good. As good as can be expected for Lo Mein without any vegies or meat. I did like that they use the real skinny noodles. I also got an order of the Veggie Spring Rolls (3). They were good as well, and they come with a little side of orange Duck/Sweet & Sour dipping sauce.
Would def order again if in that area.

The restaurant was pretty dirty, but we found a relatively clean table. The food was not cooked. The server was friendly, but tried to convince me that it was cream cheese in the sweet and sour, not raw dough. The meat was ok, but I definitely had to work for it.
The other plate was very watery. The manager gave us 25% off our order. I don’t think I’d go back here.

I never leave reviews but I have never had an experience like this before. if I could leave a 0 I would. The owner was arguing with me on how the food didn’t taste right. They took the plate away after one bite and they put it on my bill, I went and told them to take it off because I didn’t eat it because it did not taste right. Then she said I ate half of it when the waitress told her she took the whole plate back, then the owner was mocking me saying I wanted “free food” and I said no I am paying for everything else but not the plate that was wrong and didn’t even eat. Then she took it off and I was about to thank her when she slapped the new receipt on the table and rolled her eyes at me. No wonder why they don’t have any customers on Saturday night.

I would give 0 stars but one was the lowest. The I’mrestaurant was dirty! The service was terrible. Waitress very rude and un attentive. She had several tables and never came to check on anyone. Food was barely warm! Probably won’t go back.

The crab rangoon was extremely bland, and had almost no filling, just rock hard over fried wontons. Cold rice with no vegetables of any kind, even offered to pay more for them to add vegetables and they refused. The sesame chicken had no flavor, just sticky bland sauce. The only thing that tasted good was the spring rolls, which I think they buy frozen. All in all very disappointing and this was my 3rd time here, every time being similar, I wish it had been better, I tried to give it another shot before reviewing it, and the review would have been better if I hadn’t.

Ordered China Garden for the first time tonight in well over 2 years as our last few experiences weren’t great. Saw they had new owners so figured we’d give it a shot. I had a to-go order of chicken lo mein combination, cashew chicken combination, and crab rangoon. I thought it was pretty fair priced at $35.06 for a good amount of food.. definitely enough for leftovers.
The order took at least 20 minutes longer than they had told me and the staff seemed to be quite overwhelmed, but ultimately, the food was delicious and worth the wait.
The interior hadn’t changed since the previous owners but it was cleaner and there weren’t weeds everywhere on the exterior of the building as there used be. I also wonder if maybe there was an AC issue as it was a bit warm inside.
I definitely think there are some kinks that need to be worked out, but as long as customers are patient and give these folks some grace, the new China Garden will hopefully be successful and stick around.
We will definitely order again.
