Walked in on a Tuesday with a coworker to get lunch. Everything ingredient-wise looked to be fully stocked so we attempted to order turkey subs. The employee kept telling us that only tuna was available. We were just trying to order from the regular menu, not the sub/meal of the day menu. After going back and fourth trying to explain, we eventually just said “okay. no, thank you then,” and left. It was bizarre. Probably won’t go back.

Usually this subway is good quality but today I ordered a sub to find it left outside on the ground with the store completely closed. The stores hours are 9-5 and I ordered/arrived to pick up my order well before closing, to leave my sub on the ground and close early without any notification is completely unacceptable. To make it worse, my order wasn’t even put in a plastic bag; just left outside on the ground with the store fully closed. Completely unprofessional management and incredibly bad customer service.

I work near this location and stop in once or twice a month for lunch. The staff move quickly. Even in the lunch rush, I’m out in 5 minutes. Service has been mediocre to spectacular, just depends on who is on the floor and their mood, I guess. I wanted to write a review today because the two employees that were working behind the counter (young black man with short dreads and young white woman with long curly black hair) were especially fast and courteous. My sandwich was delicious. Thank you for making my lunch and walk downtown in the freezing weather more pleasant!

One of the worst subways I have ever been to,
the one that was working there is very rude.
Literally, I came at 4:50 pm and no one was there I waited for seven minutes and he came at the end and he didn’t say anything.
He wasn’t polite at all, and place was very dirty. Subway, should hire more professional people than that guy if they want their brand to sustain.
I even said to him at the end thank you and he didn’t respond !

Not a very hygienic environment. They stick their hands (gloves on) in the meats, vegs, get sauce on them, and don’t replace the gloves between orders. This is especially an issue for vegetarians or people with food restrictions, who don’t want pork fluids to stick to their food.
The other issue is the food smell which will stick to your clothes, especially if you eat inside, and you will smell it all day long.

If you live on East Campus and looking for a quick meal, and don’t want to walk. This is place to go. This is very crowded between 12:00 – 1:00. So you might want to avoid that. But overall, the food is as usual Subway food, although their service is fastest I have seen in state college Subways.
