We checked out Ottoyee for lunch and it ended up being a cozy little surprise. The restaurant was quiet when we came in, so we had the place to ourselves. The interior was simple but clean, with cute touches like ramen-themed art and soft lighting that made it feel relaxing.

We ordered the seared salmon sushi (2pc), the steak and salmon teriyaki, and the tonkatsu curry rice. The seared salmon sushi was easily my favorite—so fresh and buttery, it practically melted in my mouth. The steak and salmon teriyaki had great flavor. The steak was a bit chewier than I’d prefer, but the salmon was tender and cooked just right. The tonkatsu curry rice came out piping hot with a crispy crust on the outside and juicy pork on the inside. The curry had a comforting, mildly sweet taste and paired perfectly with the rice.

Service was friendly and attentive, and our drinks came out quickly with plenty of ice. Overall, it was a chill lunch and I’d definitely come back to try more of their menu.

Bao buns were a little bland, maybe need more sauce or veggies. The fire salmon roll was definitely the best, must try! Service a bit slow but they were nice.

Food was so heart-warmingly delicious!! Felt the love in food, the same kind you feel when you eat something your grandma makes. Service was great, bathrooms were kept very clean. A little on the pricey side but totally worth it. That torch fire they do gives the food that elevated touch – SO YUMMY! Highly recommend if you love sushi.

Could have been my hidden jam to enjoy sushi… maybe a good place to have a bowl of ramen?
The good performance to serve beef sushi was good. The server cooked the slice of beef and put it on the rice right in front of me. But not sure if a piece of sushi is worth over 4 dollars..
6 pcs basic sushi plate and seafood don were quite disappointing. In terms of sushi,I think about slices of raw fish more than frozen thawed shrimps and fake crab meats… Both menus contained small portions of salmon, again, made me think if this was a reasonable price.
Porkbelly ramen was good. Noodles weren’t soggy, and the broth had some kicks to feel the spice.

Serving was slow, although the dining hall wasn’t packed..

Absolutely phenomenal! The broth was rich and flavorful, with layers of umami that warmed the soul. The noodles had the perfect chew, and the toppings—tender chashu, jammy egg, and fresh scallions—were top-tier. Easily one of the best bowls of ramen I’ve ever had. A must-try for any ramen lover!

I stopped by around 9:30 p.m. for a quick bite and started with the pork gyozas, which were absolutely delicious. However, the main course left a bit to be desired. Unfortunately, the food was lukewarm, which was disappointing given my expectations. Despite the temperature, I still really enjoyed the dish, as the flavors were spot-on. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, but a little more attention to food temperature would have made it perfect.

The sushi was decent, great value. The beef in the beef bowl was tough and the ratio of beef to rice was off. Way too much beef.

Sukiyaki tasted great, but I don’t know if they washed the vegetables because I bit into some sand or something when I had the vegetable.

Ramen is soo good. Took a long time to come out considering there was only a total of 10 customers there at the time, but it was definitely worth the wait.

Really pleasantly surprised coming here- it was a cute little spot that had big flavors in their food. We ended up trying about 8 things off the menu and we really enjoyed every bit. Even the wasabi and ginger were delicious! The portion sizes were perfect in our opinion (I had one sushi taco & a sushi roll) and we all left feeling content. The only thing we thought could be a little better was the service. The employees were nice, but very hands off despite having so few people there. Not a big problem at all but something they can improve on a little

A little on the pricey side especially considering the small portions.

Every dish was on the smaller side. Tonkatsu ramen was super salty. The bowl is smaller than what I’m used to at many other Japanese restaurants. I could not drink the broth at all.
