KINO presenteert NIKO’s resto; een ‘laid back but on point’ burger restaurant met comfort food en gezonde sides. Met NIKO’s wil KINO niet alleen filmbezoekers de gelegenheid bieden om een complete avond uit in KINO te ervaren maar hebben we ook de ambitie om dé bestemming te worden voor burgerminnend Rotterdam. Chef Kick Vogel heeft een menu samengesteld van klassieke burgers (vlees én vegan) met een persoonlijke twist, bereid met huisgemaakte ingrediënten. Mocht je na je burger nog naar de film willen, adviseren we je uiterlijk een uur voor aanvang te bestellen. Let op: het is enkel mogelijk om vanaf 8 personen een tafel te reserveren.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that the hamburgers here are consistently the best I’ve ever eaten in my life. The only ones I’ve had that came close were those from Shake Shack in NYC and that’s still a distant 2nd place. I always feel tempted to eat them with my eyes closed to maximally enjoy them, amazing stuff 🙂 Love the Nic Cage pillows as well!

I’m American and I’ve been in search of an actually good burger. This is the first legit burger I’ve had in the Netherlands up to the caliber of good burgers I’ve had in Chicago, San Francisco, and New York. Every part of this burger is made with care from bun to sauce. Thank yall for helping me cure some homesickness! Also kino and the bar are so vibey so it’s really a nice place to visit.

One of the best burgers in Rotterdam, the hype is real. While I’m not a huge hamburger person, Niko’s classic double smash burger is an all around winner that I make an exception for. What makes Niko’s burgers so special in general is that quality of the ingredients they use. The buttery brioche bread from Das Brot melts in your mouth, and you can tell the meat is also good quality. The brioche bread is toasted on the inside – a much appreciated but often overlooked detail – and the meat is infused with a sweet, smoky flavor from the grill. Although they often have elaborate specials to go along with some of the movies screened at KINO, I love the simplicity of their classic burger where you can taste every single component.
From their sides, both the fries and roasted carrots are highly recommended, the latter especially for the garlic enthusiasts like me. I wish their portions were larger, though.
Overall, Niko’s is a great option to have a light meal before your movie at KINO, by serving one of the best burgers in Rotterdm they almost make up for the lack of snacks at KINO. The service is good, and the staff is kind and the food is served quite quickly usually. Except for the peak dinner time, then make sure you order your burgers well in advance so you can finish them in time. Highly recommend.

Best burgers in Rotterdam. I do not eat meat, so I had the fish burger and my bf went for the double smashed one. Both were absolutely delicious. I also really liked their sides, especially the charred romaine.

Super interesting offer of burgers with wide vegetarian and vegan options. Service is quick and on Monday you can get a deal – burger and fries for 15 euros. Interesting selection of beers too and the place itself is so cozy and cool, super enjoyable experience to pair with a nice movie afterwards.

One of the best smash burgers we ever had.
My girlfriend had the onion burger and some fries and I quote “de besti burger woni jemals gha han” which tanslates to “the best burger that i ever had”- so I had to sneak a bite.
The onion burger is really delicious and one of a kind. The patties have onions in them, which adds really a lot to flavour and taste.
I just had a “normal” smash burger, with an added patty and extra cheese and alsp fries on the side. My burger also was very tasty, but I can say with full confidence, if we visit Niko’s Resto again I will be getting the onion burger.
We ordered our food online and payed by card directly on their website, which was fast and efficient after we found out how everything worked. We weren’t seated by staff, instead we just sat down at any of the empty tables (there weren’t many) and got to ordering off the website!
The restaurant in located inside a cinema, so dont be surprised if you visit and there’s a cinema entrance you need to go through.
10/10 would recommend and revisit

Surprisingly good atmosphere (within a cinema which we weren’t expecting) and excellent burgers including the sauce which had a bit of a kick. The fries were okay – too many little and scappy ones which was probably bad luck.
