I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the food at this place. I ordered the AP Breakfast Sandwich which really hit the spot. It had just the right amount of everything and the butter croissant was nice and fresh. My kids (who wanted to go here) both got smoothie bowls and loved them. And all round good experience.

Went out for a nice cup of coffee yesterday while catching up with a friend. Tried the delicious maple brown sugar coffee ☕️ so good! The ambiance of the place was just right, from the meeting tables and private rooms to the cozy sofas and outdoor seating. All wrapped in that lively, buzzing Mt. Prospect vibe.

We recently hosted a baby shower at Khepri, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Shannon, our coordinator, went above and beyond. Starting with an in-person planning meeting, she provided several different menus to choose from and explained everything in detail. She was extremely easy to contact, making the planning stress-free. We went with the brunch menu and added dessert trays and rose sangria as well.
The food and signature cocktail was outstanding. The guests raved about the food, especially the everything toast. The space was perfect, already cute to begin with so limited extra decorations were needed. Shannon and her staff were extremely attentive without being in the way. Food was continuously replenished, plates cleared quickly, and takeout boxes were provided for leftovers. Khepri was very accommodating for our two gluten-free guests, ensuring they had a separate, gluten-free plate.
We would definitely host another party at Khepri again. Fantastic addition to Mt Prospect.

I love this place. Great staff. Great coffee. Great WiFi. My favorite food staple is the breakfast sandwich with avocado. It’s also nice to have the gift shop here – so helpful for cards and gifts. Craft beer & wine selection is well curated for grab and go! Shoutout to Kay who opened this morning at 6am! (Love the new expanded hours)

I went to Khepri on my first trip to Chicago. The coffee was really delicious and it was the perfect way to relax in the morning.
Akira, the staff member who helped me, was very friendly and attentive, so I felt comfortable even though it was my first time in the U.S.
It was the beginning of the fall foliage season, and the atmosphere around the café was beautiful, which made it a very special memory of my trip.

Love everything about this place. Sit and chat, get coffee or cocktails, great pastries, and a fantastic gift shop! They also stock Jeni’s Ice Cream pints, along with local favorite Cappannari’s. Highly recommend!

Khepri is hands down my favorite cafe in the area! They serve the best coffee in town and the food is always great, but what really keeps me coming back is the atmosphere and the people. The space is so comfortable and spacious—it’s the perfect environment whether you’re working or just relaxing.

This review is long overdue as we’ve been visiting almost weekly since they opened. What a wonderful addition to the MP downtown area! Khepri is exactly what we needed — solid food options made with quality ingredients, delicious drinks, and a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the charm.
I also love that they’ve thoughtfully included a small retail section — I’ve grabbed last-minute gifts here several times, and they even carry some adorable, high-quality clothing for kids.
The best part: the kids area where they can sit and color/play while adults socialize. Not many places are this kid friendly.
