Such a good sandwich! The bread was fresh and had a crunchy crust and soft inside. The spicy spread was delicious and went well with the Italian meats in the sandwich. Highly recommend

This sandwich shop has some amazing sandwiches, and the flavors truly are delicious. The servings are big too, if you get a foot long. So why the 3 stars? Because a foot long with a drink, some chips, and a cookie costs over $30. This pricing is absolutely insane when you can go to Hard Rock Cafe and get a huge meal for $25. Further still, a meal at the local movie theater wilk cost you around $30. So, these prices are highly above what they should be asking. The food is delicious. But at a $30 price point, this sandwich becomes more expensive than a meal at Chili’s, Olive Garden, or other sit down restaurants. This is a sandwich shop plain and simple, not a Michelin star cafe.

I truly do not write reviews often, but this place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I had the roast beef dip (I’m a big dip fan) and it was 100 out of 100. The sourdough bread was so fresh and SO GOOD! The beef portion was huge and the cheese, onions and this faint sweet sauce was superb!!!

There’s only one thing wrong and that’s that there isn’t one of these places in Texas where I’m from!!! I googled for food near me and I’m grateful the algorithm led me here.

People, Come get a sandwich here it’s sick!!!

Wow, just wow. Have you ever had bread baked TO ORDER for your sandwiches? As a not-big-sandwich-fan, I was floored by how soft yet chewy Crust’s sourdough bread is. They use high quality Boar’s Head meats, with a curated menu perfect for a quick lunch. I enjoyed the outdoor seating and ample parking, and the entire team there is wonderfully welcoming. Great family owned new local business!

My buddy been telling me about this place and I happened to be by there so I picked up a few sandwiches. Came home with two Italians and the new hot pastrami. The hot pastrami was a biggie and it came in a box. It was a few dollars more than the other sandwiches at around $18 but it was a lot of food, I had to eat half and then half again later. Each time I was so full I had to rethink my life choices while waiting to digest the meal so be warned; you will get full. This location got really packed after I came in at around 11:50am but they knocked out the sandwiches pretty quick, not a long wait at all. It’s a nice clean store tucked away among businesses. I will for sure be back to try the other sandwiches for sure. The sourdough with the spread can be eaten by itself as is.

Sandwiches at Crust Sourdough Deli are decent, though not that special. Standard deli subs and the portion is also average (for the price). There are lots of options to choose from and they use Boar’s Head deli meat. The outdoor seating area is fantastic, tables are well separated, with both sunny spots and well shaded ones.

I was craving a good dip sandwich. So I came by this place for lunch. It is located inside a business park but you can see it from the street so you can’t miss it. I ordered the roast beef dip and it was tasty. The only thing is I would have liked it served warm. But a few seconds in the microwave at home fixed that. The price is a pretty penny but not much different from other sandwich spots. I do plan to come back to try a turkey or chicken sandwich.

The most amazing hot pastrami in San Jose

The hot pastrami sandwich is pricy, but worth it – I can assure you.

The sourdough bread combined with fresh, juicy pastrami is something really special and I look forward to coming back every time I’m in San Jose (every few months at least)

Plenty of seating outside as well as seating inside.

Another addition to the list of local sandwich spots that specialize in high quality artisanal sandwiches baked from fresh bread…specifically sourdough bread. Not a complaint, just an observation. Even though Crust is one of the newer spots, they are very efficient and work like a well oiled machine. The customer service is friendly as well and the prices won’t leave holes in your wallet.

Items I devoured so far:

~ #10. The Three Meat Ultimate – 5/5
Come one, come all carnivores… Meat galore. Definitely Anti-Vegan and Anti -Vegetarian: A good amount of meat stacked for all the Metatarians.

~ #13. Italian – 4/5
Solid sandwich stacked with Salami, Pepperoni, Ham.

~ Coconut Macadamia cookie w/ nuts – 5/5
Soft, supple, moist…oh so delicious! Not too sweet. I’m sad for your if your are allergic to nuts.

Happened to stumble on this place during their soft opening. What a fantastic surprise!

The sandwich is amazing with a fresh baked sourdough “crust”, boars head meat selection, and the perfect amount of fixings to go with it. There is the perfect variety of drinks and chips of both the standard variety (Lays, Doritos) as well as the more unique (dirty brand) flavors. I had a great dill pickle on the side and some spicy pepperoncini (available for self serve) as well.

Pro-tip:
Because it was their a soft opening, I was able to also sample their spicy spread which actually isn’t that spicy (I eat spicy) but has a fantastic slightly smokey Sriracha flavor which I will add to my sandwich each time…or dip on the side.

Super pro-tip:
When it comes to fresh baked cookies I’m usually a chocolate chip purist at heart. But it also being their soft opening, I was able to sample the white chocolate macadamia with coconut shreds and the lemon. They’re all amazing but you have to try the lemon! I can’t quite put my finger on the flavor but it’s a light lemon based flavor that reminds me of something I just can’t put my finger on. Try it and tell me what you think!

The location itself is a beautiful and clean design and service is EXTREMELY fast. I think I waited five minutes for my order if that. Perfect for the grab and go at lunch, or if you want to dine in, they have indoor seating and were installing a bunch of outdoor seating as well.

They are only open during lunchtime but close enough to my work that I will definitely be back for this as a favorite.
