By far the best Indian food we’ve had up here in the mountains. Flavours were very well balanced. Portions were generous and included quality cuts of meat. They also had some nice drinks to choose from like mango lassi and masala tea.

The owner and staff were super friendly, accommodating and all round nice people.

We will be coming back again for sure.

Edit: came back a second time and again everything was amazing but afterwards we were both unusually extremely thirsty the rest of the night and a bit sick and bloated. The next day we were even more bloated. No idea what caused it.

Food was delicious. We had the spicy beef vindaloo and the chicken tikka masala, with garlic and cheese naan bread and roti sides. And for dessert the gulab jamun. The roti wasn’t great, but everything else was extremely tasty. Complementary poppadums. Fast, friendly service, will go back again.

Food was amazing!!! Classic butter chicken and jeers rice. The garlic and cheese naans were quite cheesy, definetely value for money on the cheese but a bit too much for me
Great experience all round!

The restaurant delivers consistently outstanding Indian food. The balance of spices, aroma, and presentation was impressive. From starters to mains, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. This place truly respects traditional Indian cooking.

After reading the reviews and passing through the Blue Mountains, my friends and I were really keen to try out Navraj in Springwood, unfortunately we were all a bit disappointed with our experience.

To start with it looked fantastic – the atmosphere was nice and traditional, if a bit dated. The menu was really large and had many options, quite a few unique ones too. We ordered our food and one of our friends meals came out quite earlier than the rest, which was a bad start.

When everyone else’s mains arrived, it looked presentable enough but it was clear from looking at the curries that their consistence was far too thin/runny, more akin to a soup than a curry. The chicken in the curries & tikka were unfortunately lacking flavour and didn’t seem they were left to marinate. The mango chicken was tasty, but the consistency was off-putting and it felt there were some ingredients missing in the overall flavour. The Chicken Saag was too salty and the vegetables tasted more like they were from a preprepared tin than freshly cut up and made into a curry.

Regarding the sides – the bread in both naans was fantastic, but the garlic naan was a bit too salty. The cheese and garlic naan was nice – but not worth the almost doubled price of the garlic naan. The texture of the rice was nice and tasted freshly cooked.

The Mango Lassi was the only drink ordered and it was slightly sour, I wouldn’t reccomend it.

Overall, I’d give Navraj a 3.5/5.

A wonderful place to enjoy authentic Indian flavors. The dishes were comforting yet refined, with deep, well-developed tastes. Portions were generous, and the food quality exceeded expectations. Easily one of the better Indian restaurants around.

Me and my partner picked up some takeaway one night from here and omg straight away we were greeted by a lovely man who was so welcoming and gave us the best service before we left even giving us a can each no charge and when we tried the food it was so yummy, the butterchicken was perfect and full of creamy sauce/ flavour, the rice was cooked exactly as it should and the cheesy naan was still warm and had a cheese pull until the last bite, overall its our new fav indian resturant and highly recomend

We spoke to that guy buy as well you should maintain proper hygiene care while you are on shift and you are the serving one.

I can’t speak for service or atmosphere as I ordered takeout. The food is watery and tasteless. Even the naan tasted like raw flour. All went in the bin. What a waste of $60.
