Just had the most amazing pizza at this spot! The crust was perfectly crispy on the edges and soft in the middle, with a deliciously tangy tomato sauce that’s full of flavor. They didn’t skimp on the toppings—fresh veggies and melty cheese that stretched with every bite. Service was quick and friendly too. Hands down the best pizza I’ve had in a while—will definitely be coming back! ✨

This shop is small and family owned. We greeted right away. We had to take time to review the menu as we had never eaten here before. Everything was pretty tasty. The sauce on the pizza is different from any sauce I’ve tried from various pizza places. My husband ordered the steak and cheese sandwich and although it was good it did not have enough lettuce on it. I had the calzone and it was pretty decent. The cheese pizza was for the entire household and my child really enjoyed it more than us. They make their cannolis fresh and it was delicious.

I had read all these amazing reviews when I was trying to find an Italian place in Tenleytown. Took a friend for a celebration.
I should’ve turned around and walked out as I walked in as I was expecting a quality place and discovered it’s just a low-end takeaway
Maybe if I had stuck to Pizza, I would’ve been happy like so many of the other reviews are, but I chose the lamb roll and ate about 1/2
Shocked at my experience compared to what I had expected from all of the reviews

I ordered an extra saucy cheese pizza with ham and pineapple and it came out exactly as I had hoped!

I went for dinner on Thursday night, and let me tell you Angelico pizzeria totally satisfied my Italian food craving!
We dined at the cafe and felt very safe. There was also outside patio seating.
To start we ordered the caprese salad. Very very fresh!
They make their sandwiches with HOMEMADE focaccia. It was absolutely so comforting, so fresh. We ordered the Turkey sandwich because it also came with homemade pesto sauce. I devoured it.
Next we ordered the spinach and artichoke pizza and Italian calzone.
The toppings were flavorful and the calzones were soooo cheesy and pipping hot.
For dessert we ordered a slice of the chocolate cake. It was super thick and dense. With a little cannoli cream on top, it was a great end to our meal.
I was very happy to support Angelico pizzeria. The owner is so nice and has multiple locations. SUPPORT LOCAL! You won’t regret it

Went here for a late night dinner in a weekday. It was not busy. Food was delicious. We got a spicy chicken pizza. Spicy level was very low even it said it was spicy. They also serve beer abd other sodas. Order was processed within 15 mins. Employees were very frindly and saw they are cleaning tables after someone leave.

Pizza was hard as a brick and the wings were horrible. I ordered a meat lovers pizza and a pepperoni pizza. How do you have such a great reputation in the community and serving low grade food like this. This was a waste of $79.00. Maybe the animals outside will enjoy this garbage.

We enjoyed eating at this establishment. It was clean and the service was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious! Love the fact that it closes at midnight. Perfect place to go after a late basketball game. Can’t wait to return!

I’ve had their pizza for a long time and enjoyed it. But I had some around the Super Bowl in February and just today from their Mount Pleasant location and I’m not sure what cheese they are using now but it’s not a classic mozzarella—it’s begun tasting like they’re using (dare I say it…) American Cheese which has its place, on their steak and cheese sandwiches, which are great, but just not in pizza. I won’t be getting pizza from here again unless I can guarantee the cheese is mozzarella

This is our family’s go to shop for pizzas. We tried it when we first moved to Tenleytown over twelve years ago and continue to order from here. Really good pies, yummy ingredients and friendly folks behind the counter. Living around the corner makes this an added value – pizza in 15 minutes!
