First time here,and it was truly delightful!
Best Philly sandwiches we ever had!
We were full, so Signature Italian sub is left for tomorrow,but no doubt it is phenomenal also!
Philly’s were perfectly cooked, veggies were not raw as in almost all restaurants we’ve ever been to!
Superb quality and taste.
Come to Jodi’s and get Philly steak sandwiches! We recommend them to all meat lovers.
My favorite is Sweet Philly steak
Italian ice was very good , but we didn’t get ones we ordered, since restaurant was out of them, and GrubHub didn’t have that info on the menu, so upon arrival employees gave us what they had available.
Can’t wait to go back again to those great flavors, and with restaurant being in the neighborhood, makes it easy for us

I’ve wanted to try this place for a long time and I finally got around to doing so. I ordered the cheese steak sandwich and it did not disappoint! The sandwich had plenty of meat on it and it was very tasty! The Italian ice was great. We ordered the cherry. Very flavorful and delicious! I will be back again!

First time at this location. Have been to the other locations in the past years, but only had the Italian ice, which is still on point!! We had the Philly Cheesesteak, Chicken Philly Cheesesteak, French fries, all three types of egg rolls (1 of each flavor), and the Italian ice. We placed the order to go, even though they had plenty of seating (love the open area), and the food was fresh and delicious and good-sized portions. Would recommend and will be back.

Other than they need some more staff, everything was excellent. The Smash burger was delicious (I could only manage half) and the Italian hogie was packed and also delicious (so I’m told…it was also cut into half..the medium). The coconut ice is creamy! Definitely going back.

I haven’t had Jodi’s for years and was elated that they opened a new location close to family in Schererville. October 2025, I stopped in around 7 PM to get a chicken Philly with fries and a pint of up to 5 different flavored Italian ices. I chose strawberry, mango, Swedish fish, peach and doubled up on one – every flavor was SO GOOD – they always are! I ordered at the counter and waited 20 minutes for my sandwich and fries, which was a little disappointing, because I was hungry. They seemed to be busy with some take-out orders. Lesson learned – order ahead to skip the wait. The staff was really helpful in helping me make dairy free menu choices and kept my pint of Italian ice in the freezer while I waited. The restaurant and bathroom was clean but the dining room was a little chilly as I waited. Still winning, because every bite of that Italian ice was savored. I wish it lasted in my freezer longer. Just another reason to come back and order for pick up.

Ive tried this resturant on 3 separate occasions. The first time i tried the steak cheesesteak in which was bland in flavor and had too much cheese on it for me. The salmon/chicken eggs are what did it for me. The second time i built my own sub which was good but had to much oil( and of couse i got another egg roll). The third time i got it right lol, i got another sub no oil, egg roll and tried and Italian ice(watermelon) which was really good! I took my son the 3rd time he just got an italian ice but he loved it and said he’d definitely be back! And so will I.

Philly cheese steaks with Italian ice! Love the combo and these guys are new to area so had I got a couple classic Philly’s with cheese fries, and a couple Italian ices. The sandwich was perfectly cooked and meat spiced, sautéed onion and cheese. Bread was soft and didnt fall apart while eating . The Cherry(bits of fruit perfect)and Nerds(candy ratio) Italian ices are flavorful and plentiful for mediums. This place is on my favorite list. They have chicken tenders also. I will be frequenting this place long as the food stays spectacular. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Maaan!! This place is a must if you’re in the area! Anytime I am down here from Detroit I have to stop and if I miss it my trip is a bust! They have cheesesteaks that’ll make the hungriest of people full, and the Italian ice are to die for! Cherry is always a winner with coconut and the vanilla ice cream taste like homemade ice cream that you churned for hours. And all this is done with a welcoming smiling face from Raquel who makes sure your experience is the absolute best!! She always makes sure my visit is perfect!

New place in the neighborhood. Looked at the menu online and came in for lunch. We ordered the cheese steak and the sweet steak with the cheese fries. Very happy with the service and the food was amazing. The cheese steak was really good but the sweet steak is Phenomenal! Cheese fries were fresh, crispy fries and smothered in cheese.
Had a blue raspberry Italian ice for dessert and it was delicious too!
Drinks are cans and bottled water so maybe in the future they will get fountain sodas
This could become a problem being so close to home. Would definitely recommend and we will be coming back.

Captain Crunch
When we lived in Whiting we used to go to the Hammond location all the time. It was awesome to see a location open further south. They brought the same excellent food and went a step further with a nicely finished out dine in section. Some of the best sandwiches in the region.
