My wife and I really enjoyed Jordandal Cookhouse for breakfast. The coffee was good and I thought that the biscuits and gravy were some of the best I have. The sausage gravy had a sweeter herb taste that set it apart from other places. My wife had the breakfast burger and she loved how the egg, onion, and garlic aoli worked together. The decor is farmhouse-like and makes you feel at home. The staff was friendly and I think everyone should give it a try. I hope to make it back there at some point.

Jordandal Cookhouse is directly across the street from the Holiday Inn Express where I was staying. A coworker highly recommend the restaurant and it did not disappoint! The fish tacos were delicious and possibly the best I’ve ever experienced thus far. I’ll definitely come back on my return visit.

Local farm-to-table operation. Fresh, home-cooked style food, always delicious.
Lunch menu is mostly sandwiches and burgers. Dinner menu includes larger meals. Weekly and daily specials available.
It can sometimes be a bit of a wait for takeout, so call ahead of you already know what you want.

Hipsters are overly proud of themselves. Poor service and mediocre food. Meatloaf has too much filler. Chili was very good.

Absolutely delicious. Super fresh. Portion sizes aren’t small per say but don’t come starving either.

Had their white cheddar mac and cheese and the burger. Delicious meal with tasty homemade pickles.

On a cold and windy day, I longed for a warm meal that was also good. I had heard of this place but never been. Lunch was good and quick. I asked for a recommendation from the counter service and was told everything was good. I went with the roast beef sandwich which is the first entree he mentioned. The same story was true for the included side which for me was potato salad. It was good but I’d prefer it came with the plated food rather than in a clam shell from the cooler. The roast beef sandwich was delicious. Excellent meat with seasoning enhanced it without overshadowing.

I just had the best tasting hamburger ever. The quality of the grass fed meat is amazing. The burger was made in a visually pleasing manner and it was just the perfect size, not overly huge as many other places make. Simply divinely delicious!

I am a long time customer of Jordandal Cook house and can’t recommend it enough. You must be patient with the staff and customers as they navigate the delicious menu of stellar options, your final choice is difficult to make. On my latest visit I opted for the loaded breakfast chili with a side of jowl bacon. The over easy egg I opted for was cooked perfectly and oozed into the chili as I stirred it in, unfortunately the large bowl of chili, which I do appreciate, overpowered the single egg into nothingness. I would recommend a smaller portion of chili, or an additional egg to balance the meal. Also underwhelming were the three scant cuts of avocado, that tasted great in the spoonfuls it accompanied but once again not quite enough to balance the bowl. The jowl bacon was outstanding! Cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside moist in the center, a perfect crispy, salty, fatty wave across your tongue! The accompanying coffee was better than average but not quite to stand alone coffee shop standards. I’ll report back on my next visit!

The apple & bacon French toast was delicious! The breakfast sandwich was also good, but a little difficult to eat since the bread was hard so the insides fell out during every bite. The person who took my order was a tad snarky and not overly welcoming, but her manager’s superb customer service skills made up for it. We’ll certainly be back and can’t wait to try more plates!
