We eat at Favela’s almost weekly and we’ve never had a bad experience. Guacamole is always fresh and the food is always hot and well-seasoned. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. This is one of our absolute favorite Mexican food joints in town!

We decided to do take out after a busy day. ordered online and picked up and drove home. once home we realized they had given us the wrong order. we called and asked what happened to our order. they said to come back that our correct order was sitting on the counter. we live 20+ minutes from the restaurant. so from the time we picked up the first order and would drive back to town, picked up correct order and drove back home our food will have been sitting well over an hour. we asked if they would remake order so it would be fresh. They refused and were very rude when i requested. we chose to eat what we had already picked up. Burritos were 90% rice and beans with little or no meat. Flavor was extremely bland at best. we ended up throwing food in the garbage. Worst Mexican food i have ever had. Favela’s has failed miserably with customer services and quality of food. 1 star is an over rating.

We stopped by Favela’s in Vacaville on Taco Tuesday, and it was a great deal all around. The tacos were fresh, the price was right, and the vibe was relaxed. My wife really enjoyed her taco salad—it was loaded, crisp, and satisfying. We also got the chips and guacamole, which were fresh and flavorful, a solid starter.
Our daughter had the quesadilla, and it was a good-sized portion for a kid’s meal—she loved it. The staff was kind, and even though it got a bit busy, we never felt ignored. Seating is casual but clean, and the food came out hot and well-prepared.
If you’re looking for affordable Mexican food with generous portions and a family-friendly environment, especially on Taco Tuesday, Favela’s is definitely worth the visit. We’ll be back for more.

I have been coming here over 20 years. I don’t live close anymore but always eat here when I am in town. I have never had my order wrong, every bite is delicious, generous portions. The short wait times friendly people and comfortable atmosphere are very welcoming. I love this place! Food doesn’t last long enough for pics. lol

Grew up eating here back in the 90s but moved up north… The owners of the restaurant would have their kids either doing their homework on weekdays and hanging out on weekends , was hard to find Trustworthy Dependable childcare, or if old enough the older kids would help out where they could in the restaurant.. as I’ve pasted threw time from time I always swing by and get a bite to eat here…. Brought my wife this time she said best she’s had, from upper NorCal….

Got a burrito lunch here with my wife, fast and friendly service. They have more dinner plate type options and a nice atmosphere if you want a more dinner date option. But for the burritos, great pricing similar to say chipotle but the burritos are twice as big and they don’t skimp on the meat.
This is kind of a niche opinion but the guacamole not having onions was so nice. There’s onion in everything it seems like so this was great for those of us who aren’t a fan of them.

This is a good old fashioned delicious burrito! The chile Colorado was fresh and hot. The beans were flavorful and delicious. Beautiful authentic decorations and wonderful service.
