So far, the BEST DONUTS of my life . Every one of them has a unique and outstanding taste and when I asked the guy about the recommendations, he literally said, ” All of them are good,” and honestly, all of them were DAMN GOOD. Besides donuts, they have a really good coffee.

Such an amazing place. We live about an hour and a half away but anytime we are even close to Elkins we detour just to get Byrd’s Donuts. The coconut creme filled honestly will melt in your mouth. Nothing but praise from me.

Stopped in here late one afternoon and when I opened the door the young lady was mopping the floor. I thought they may be closed. She said they were open. I thought my pickings would be slim but the cases were packed. I got two white cream filled donuts. I took them home and ate hours later. They were both very good. Stopped here twice while I was in town 🙂 Yummy donuts (love that they have strawberry glazed rings) and very reasonably priced breakfast sandwiches. I tried one on a donut and it was amazing Great customer service too!

I know it’s supposed to be the town spot for getting doughnuts, but doughnuts really aren’t my thing. HOWEVER, they are one of the earliest places opening in town daily (6 AM on weekdays), so I dropped in one time when I needed to get some work done and was looking for Wi-Fi and made the pleasant discovery that they serve a hot breakfast as well — simple fare mostly, like breakfast sandwiches — but the price was very good. While they had (I think) only drip coffee available, it’s fresh, or at least has been the three times I’ve now been back to visit. Plus, like at a Denny’s, the refills on the drip coffee are free. Oh, and the staff are awesome — friendly and professional.
