We had an absolutely amazing experience at this incredible small town restaurant in Ardmore, OK. The food was outstanding, from the appetizers to the entrees, everything was delicious. The drinks were spot on, and the service was truly exceptional.
But what really sets this place apart is the people. After finishing our meal, we realized Ubers were completely unavailable. We spent about 20 minutes trying both Uber and Lyft with no luck. We finally called Ardmore Taxi, who quoted us $55 for a short ride back to our hotel.
When we walked back to the hostess stand to grab another drink and share what happened, Kayla immediately turned around and asked, Who can take these folks to Ardmore? Without hesitation, Jana, the sweetest waitress I’ve ever met, offered to give us a ride herself. She made sure we got back to our hotel safely, and she absolutely refused to let us pay that $55 taxi fee.
That kind of kindness and hospitality is rare, and it made our night unforgettable.
Fireside is a 10 outta 10, through and through. Amazing food, incredible service, and people who genuinely care. We will absolutely be back for many years to come!

Exceptional everything! Atmosphere is great, almost nostalgic. Food was excellent from the bread, to the salad, the fried green tomatoes (with lump crab), and then the ribeye and potato casserole. We will absolutely make this a must when we are RVing at Lake Murray.

Perfect steaks. The loaded potatoes was delicious. Friendly service too: the staff are very attentive and happy to help. We will be back!

Our visit was on a Saturday, we arrived just before opening. The dogs (2) needed some coaching to get out of the driveway. As expected we were seated immediately. My wife had the Moscato and I had a Shiner bock. Both were as anticipated. The bread served, as previously noted, seemed fried and overly seasoned with garlic. My wife ordered the Teriyaki chicken and I had the filet. We had a Fireside salad with the meals and we each had loaded baked potatoes. We liked the salad, served family style, although wished there had been onions in it My steak instead of being seared was charred/burnt and crusty while being perfect on the inside, not my preference. My wife was satisfied with her chicken and rice. Sadly, we were too full to order dessert (as usual).
The service was very good and pulls the overall rating up.

Not impressed. Wood fire flavor was great. But the ribeye meat, not top notch. This was second time there and they missed the mark again. Also, don’t get hyped up for the crab cake appetizer photos in Google. It’s not on the menu. And if they say they have it. It looks nothing like the photo. But it was good.

What happened to this once great place? Why change how you do strip steak? The doneness was okay, but what’s with everything else? Some sauce and a lousy attempt at making an outside “char”? Why change it? Horrible. And I’m not even the only one which is why I come to review. Very bad. Even the cheesecake was frozen and in a to-go container, like why. Bread roll was subpar.
Not worth the price.

Our waitress Jana was fantastic and the food was spectacular. The atmosphere is somehow highbrow but completely relaxed at the same time. There is an address code, but the quality of food would make you think there should be. Loved it!

Neat little rustic place. Don’t seem to take reservations but if your a regular you may have a standing one. Hmm. Able to get a drink at the bar while you wait. Friendly staff. Good food. Crab cake was good for being inland. Salad was a salad. Prime rib was good not great. Baked potato was ok. Filet was great. A little loud and not an intimate setting as hoped. 4 stars for Ardmore, 3 for any where else.

Kind of a weak start but a strong finish. Just passing through and decided to grab a bite, found it online & took the exit. Nice looking place, rustic style outside, dim/dated inside. Ordered stuffed mushrooms appetizer and it was burnt til black outside, completely raw/uncooked inside. Went ahead and waited for the entreès and they were both great. Top sirloin and pork chops both came out exactly as ordered, the sides were good, the salads were fresh and crisp. The waitress was friendly and attentive without being annoying at all. A little more expensive than your chain restaurants but worth it. Hopefully those mushrooms were just a fluke.

As most comments indicate, it is pricey. But if you try it just one time you’ll see why. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff are accommodating from your first step in to your last step out. The appetizers we ordered (crab cake and french onion soup) were remarkably hot, freshly made in-house, and awesomely tasty. The aged steaks were tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked over hickory. I could go on and on; but my comments wouldn’t change. It was a great culinary experience and one I hope to return back to in the near future.
