We had brunch and loved the food. The chole bhature and chole puri were delicious. We also ordered some samosas, paneer pakoras, and mithai to go. Loved the food and service.

The food here seems genuine, well seasoned and flavorful. I am glad we found a good tasting Indian food place as I am a huge fan. The main dish portion seemed a bit small. The weekend I went to this restaurant there seemed to only be one server, which made it take a while for us to order. The server was very friendly but seemed overwhelmed. The location was clean and had beautiful decorations and paintings. They have a lunch special sign outside on the window but were apparently not doing it that day? Overall I would love to stop by again but I might order to go.

June 10, 2025, Today, we had the pleasure of visiting Chasni Indian Sweets and Kitchen, and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. We decided to try a few different dishes to get a good feel for what the restaurant has to offer. We ordered golguppe, Amritsar kulcha, fish pakora, and mango lassi, and I’m glad to say that most of them lived up to expectations!
The golguppe were crisp and fresh, bursting with flavor. The price for these was reasonable, making them a great choice for a light snack or appetizer. The fish pakora was a definite standout—perfectly fried with a delicious crispy coating and juicy, tender fish inside. It was probably my favorite dish of the meal. The mango lassi was thick, sweet, and refreshing, balancing out the spicy flavors of the savory items nicely.
The restaurant itself is spacious and very clean, which made dining in quite comfortable. The atmosphere felt relaxed, and there was plenty of room to move around without feeling crowded. The service was also excellent—our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure our order was taken promptly. Even better, the food arrived quickly and piping hot, which is always a bonus.
The only dish that didn’t quite hit the mark was the Amritsar kulcha and chole. While the kulcha was fresh, it lacked the robust flavor I was hoping for, and the chole could have been a bit more seasoned. Still, these small misses didn’t overshadow the rest of the meal.
All in all, it was a great place to enjoy a satisfying Indian meal. The variety of dishes, cleanliness of the space, and excellent service really made this visit memorable. I’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to try some authentic Indian street food and sweets. I’m looking forward to coming back and exploring even more of their menu!

I recently had a chance to visit Chasni as me and few friends were craving for paranthas. Initially skeptical, we still went ahead and were highly satisfied with the food. We had aloo, gobhi, and mooli paranthas and all of them were really good. The best part about the food is it didn’t feel heavy at all and no bloating which is a normal thing after having so much food. It felt like I am eating at my home. On the top of it, we also took some sweets which were also really good. I highly recommend this place for paranthas and I am definitely going to visit again.

This place got a major interior upgrade from the previous restaurant that was here so I must give kudos to the team and that’s where they definitely deserve a lot of praise cus no one in kent is really trying at this aspect aside from mahraja but other than that the food here has gone downhill quite a bit since it was previously known as India house (the previous king of Kent indian food) And there is virtually no staff inside to help customers at all. Sweet counter is priced sky high compared to others whilst lacking the delicious freshness as well.

had Mulli Parontha and Paneer Pakora, and both were absolutely delicious. The mulli parontha was fresh, soft, and perfectly spiced, with a great balance of radish flavor—not too strong, just right. It tasted homemade and went really well with butter and pickle.
