Hey, we are Chalili’s Chicken & Wings! Chalili’s is a family-owned restaurant. we serve a variety of chicken and Haitian food as well. we are open every day from 11am – 9:30pm most nights. We first open May 16th, 2023, in the beginning the business was very slow and it was hard to find customers, so we decided to buy Taco John’s on 10th Street closer to downtown. And since then, business has been successful and for those wondering our old location will no longer be open we will continue to serve foot at the 10th Street location. The best way to order food from this location is to either order online, pay inside or in the drive through. We have a kiosk inside which you can pay with a credit card by yourself in case we are occupied! thanks!

The sandwich was made of 3 tenders which was interesting. 9.7/10 taste, great texture and flavor inside and out; I’d put it as one of the top fried chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. I’m fairly tall with a good appetite and it was filling; this could easily make 2 meals for somebody smaller.
The mac & cheese was okay. Not that cheesy sadly but it was hot and had good flavor.
The chicken was amazing. The owners care about sharing their food with customers as there was a passion about the flavors being offered. The Jamaican flavor was great! The standard fried chicken had great flavor and crunch! Fries were fresh and had a nice crunch. We were offered a sample of made to order ginger tea as I hadn’t had it before. Not a flavor I like but the wife loved it so I’m assuming if you like ginger tea, you’ll think it’s amazing.
I highly recommend mixing their house sauce and hot sauce together, that was tasty. The bbq sauce was ok, tasted like it had 5 spice in it to me. Not bad but not my fav. Just my taste bud preference.
Downsides: the heat on the seat side of the building must have been in disrepair because the desired temp it was set to was 72F but the actual temp in the eating area showed to be 60F. The soda machine was out of order, however, they provided cans of pop and bottled water to make up for it.
Will definitely be back next time we are in the mood for fried chicken! Highly recommended!
Also the cashier/server was very nice — even brought food to us as we waited in the car.
The restaurant could be a big hit at the 10th Ave location with targeted marketing to the college students.
I’d recommend this place to anyone seeking fantastic chicken at a great price, in a clean and welcoming atmosphere. We live 100 miles away but we’ll be back next time we are in Fargo. Check these guys out. You can thank me later 😉
