Food was good and relatively cheap. Service was slow but it looked like they were training a couple kids. It’s a dirty old bar with great food but….please remodel the bathrooms. I’d rather piss in a Gatorade bottle in my truck than use your restroom.

Kind of a hole in the wall but a nice find if you’re traveling. Food was great. Made fresh and a lot of different pub type options. It’s a bar but has tables up front for those dining in. No highchairs which can be challenging for those with babies/toddlers. Nice kids menu with all the usual things kids will eat. Food came out hot and quickly.

Well lit bar, service was very good. Had a chicken club with fries that was tasty. But let me tell you about the bread sticks my wife ordered. Light, fluffy, amazingly flavored. These things are life changing. I’ll never have bread sticks from anywhere else without a tear in my eye just knowing that those bread sticks are not these bread sticks. If you’re a bread stick fan, order these bread sticks. If you aren’t a bread stick fan, these will make you one, so order the bread sticks. I might make the hour drive from my home to Brick Street Tavern regularly just to get a side of bread sticks.

Reminded me of a German gay leather bar I accidentally stepped into once in Munich around 1996. Completely dark from the outside; we weren’t quite sure if there was a sex dungeon hiding behind that door or what. Inside was pretty dark as well, with wood paneling on the walls from the 70s. Bathrooms for both sexes had little privacy; the women’s had some swinging wooden doors with no locks that were also too narrow for the space so that there is a large gap of sight into the stall. They also had an old rotating towel to use, also from the 70s or maybe earlier before we knew about hygiene. My husband never gave me the details on the men’s bathroom, but when he came in and out so fast, it was obvious he didn’t do anything in there, and our male friend indicated there was no cover.
Despite the fact that this place cries out for a redesign update, our female server was very nice and took care of us. We were fearful of botulism after seeing the place, but actually the food was decent. There aren’t many options in the area, so giving this place a try isn’t a bad idea.

I came in on a Thursday. 7-20-2023 to celebrate an Anniversary with my wife at around noon. Ordered our food. Which was ok. I had to ask for one of my sides from the basket I ordered. My wife’s loaded nachos had very few chips.
Chances are we will never be back. And we are locals.
Very unfriendly service. They weren’t even busy.
Sad to see a local place treat customers this way.

I wrote this review about a month ago, we decided to go back and take our friends with us last night 11/25, it is a 40 min drive to get there.
There was only one other table occupied, my husband got the steak and he liked it, I however got the chicken that tasted like it was cooked at noon and served at 7pm. I told the waitress and was treated like it was my fault and she didn’t even come back to the table, we had to go up to the bar and get our own drinks.
The waitress and bar tender proceeded to talk about us and roll their eyes right at us so we were sure to know they didn’t appreciate our business.
Will not be back, terrible customer service.

Small town tavern food done well. Burgers are simple and tastey. Fries were just right. Cole slaw is among the best anywhere. Iced tea was strong enough. Menu contains a nice variety of tavern food with daily specials. Waitress was prompt and attentive. Food was served in a timely manner. This was a good experience for us.

We got the 4 piece chicken, potato and salad bar. The chicken was either old or over cooked very dry. Salad bar was ok. The macaroni salad was amazing.! Could use croutons some kind of meat for salad or bacon bits. Potato salad was good as well.
