Opened in 2020, Slice & Ice serves Tucson rapid-fire pizzas, fries, heroes, salads, and Italian ice! Our pizza is known to be hot and ready in just 3-minutes, served in a personal pie or a slice– which is a half pie. Our fries are great as-is, but we also make them fancy with incredible ranch, hot ranch, pizza, or garlic toppings! Our hero sandwiches and salads are made with fresh, crisp ingredients that will bring you back in again and again for lunch. And finally, the ice the started it all… it’s just as incredible and iconic as it was back in the summer of the 1970’s, but now serving 32 different flavors! Come visit us for dine-in or drive-thru daily from 10am to 10pm! Or, order delivery on DoorDash, GrubHub, or Uber Eats.

I ordered online, and went to pick the food up. There was a child taking orders and money. The person that had to pay right before me was charged for an item three times. Visually the food looks fantastic. The bread is fresh and fluffy. I can’t deny that the presentation was great. There was no flavor to any of the food though, very bland. I might revisit when they aren’t as busy.

Drive past the expensive Eegees with their lackluster food to Slice & Ice, owned by one of the original Eegees owners. Delicious food and their beverages have the original Eegees flavor and consistency. The best part is zero food coloring.

Is there a way to rate negative stars? This, if you’re rabid, may taste good, but as someone who is not, I and my family can agree that this is the worst pizza we have ever tried. Got half cheese, half Hawaiian. It was extremely greasy. The Hawaiian was exactly the same as the cheese pizza but with uncut lunch meat and the tiniest pieces of pineapple thrown all over it that fell off as soon as you touched it. You could fold up this pizza as if it were a rug and then eat a slice in one bite. Thinner than a pancake, do they have people to stomp on it in the kitchen? The parking spaces are so small and the restaurant is even smaller. There are like 4 tables in the entire restaurant. I recommend avoiding this pizza and avoiding the embarrassment of buying it, lunch is ruined, waste of $10.
(P.S: The best size group for people to enter the restaurant isn’t one, it’s zero. You should run away from this place.)

Do you miss how Eegees used to be? Welp, this is it! And WAAAAAY better. I hope this place expands locations. Great food, and amazing “Italian Ice” and awesome employees.

Food was delicious and of course love the fries with the ranch! The pizza was actually really good and my husband got turkey and cheese hero sandwich which also was very good the staff was nice and food came out quickly! Love this place! The icee drinks are also less sugary than other places and were very yummy

Waited for months for the east side location to open. I have been twice in 4 days. I was always a fan before they sold to others. Got the 3 meat and cheese grinder both times. Got the tuna salad salad along with the grinder and ice followed by grinder and side salad today. I got it to go. Later I will try the fries but when I eat inside. The fries were always best piping hot.

Convenient affordable tasty fast food. This West Grant Road location has a good amount of inside seating for those wishing to dine in. I dined in and had a “slice” of their Supreme pizza — which is actually 1/2 of their “full pie” size. I enjoyed it. This is a convenient option for grabbing an inexpensive bite to eat when out and about or on the way home.

Lived in Tucson as a kid. Moved back 4 years ago. Eegees sucked now and I was really bummed. Slice and ice opened. Soooo good. Just like eggees used to be…. Maybe better. Now please open the Tanque Verde location. Will be there twice a month at least once it opens
