Worst biryani I’ve ever eaten in my life. I don’t know how someone can make a rice dish this badly. The chicken was undercooked and had no flavor at all. The Afghani chicken was the same undercooked and tasteless. I would never buy from here again, even if it were free. Completely inedible food.

Ordered online and the food was super flavorful and a great price.
The shwarma wraps were a standout, not your typical shwarma and was a bit small but it was also quite cheap and incredibly delicious.
Veggie momos and chicken biryani were also great.
By far the best value indian food I’ve had in the HRM. Will be ordering again to try more of the menu.

Hi, I ordered Chicken Shawarma Roll from Uber and the food was amazing and so tasty. It was one of the best shawarmas I ever had here. I really appreciate the staff who made those shawarma. I really recommend this place to my friends. Thank you so much for the tasty food.

So, first of all, let me start with the Momos, it’s been so long since I had the authentic taste of Momos the last time I had something like that was in the Delhi chanakyapuri and the moment you took the first bite with the right sauces mix of mayo, and schezwan Momo sauce you’ll know this is totally worth it. I give 10/10 for this and strongly recommend to try the Momos. They are totally authentic. Just like what we used to have in Delhi.
Now the next one the chicken biryani, it was very well made with the well balanced spices not too hot not to bland perfectly good comes with the side salan or you can say side sauce had enough chicken in it and had really good spice mix for Biryani. I’ll recommend that to 10 out of 10.
Last but not the least was the tiramisu. They have just introduced that and they give it to as a complimentary. You can see that in the picture it’s made from scratch like how you used to get in a really great Italian restaurant I’ll strongly recommend the owner to put that on the menu And that is for sure please give it a try if you have a sweet tooth like me. 10/10 loved ittt.

11:30 pm, I went to the mcdonald but suddenly it’s closed. I was sturving, So I saw this The Can-Indian Kitchen is still open but soon they will close within 30 mins. It’s beside mcdonald. It’s not my first time to order food here but I think this is my 3rd time to order. But still the food is amazing.
Also the crew is kind and still let me order food even soon they will close the store. I just ordered 1 box of medium chicken pizza I don’t remember the name but also I ordered 1 desert and gave me for free coz I told him not to proceed to baked or microwave coz I will be late to my work, I can microwave it myself at work.
The pizza and the dessert are amazing! I ordered medium of pizza, and I almost eat all. I just leave 2 slices for my son and to my husband to try also the flavour of the pizza that I ordered this time.
I’ve been order food on this fasfood restaurant since before but I have not given a chance to leave a review. It’s just tonight.

I was disappointed with my delivery experience and wouldn’t highly recommend it. It might be my mistake to think this similar to Indian Afghan restaurant in Saudi Arabia. Specifically, the Afghan chicken dish was underwhelming, with 5 pieces, of which 2 were wings and 2 were bones, leaving me wonder if this is the norm of this dish. The photos at the website don’t match the photos I attached.
The chicken curry came spicy instead of mild. The chicken was not fully cooked. It doesn’t taste like curry.
The chicken moms were too garlicky. This is an Indian dish, I mistakenly thought it the famous Afghan Manto. It wasn’t. I didn’t like the taste and texture of the grounded chicken.
I paid $ 60 for these 3 dishes. I wonder if Uber Eat is making huge mark-up. When I checked the website the prices are 50% less!:(

After trying many Indian restaurants in the Halifax area, I tried the Can Indian Kitchen’s AMAZING Chicken Biryani and DELICIOUS Chicken Curry with rice. It took me straight back to my childhood. My mother puts so much love and care into our meals and somehow I felt that here.. it made my visit so special and I don’t think I have seen anyone give this much chicken in every dish at an Indian restaurant! Great hospitality, squeaky clean ambience, and delicious meals at a very reasonable price. Hard to beat anything like this in the area.
I already told the owners that they should sign me up as a regular customer. Thank you guys, my parents and I loved it!
