Absolutely fantastic! Stopped at Boda for lunch and everything exceeded expectations. The team was so nice and helpful guiding us through the menu. They make nearly everything in-house—including their tender tortillas tinted red with a little beet juice (a cool touch).
We really enjoyed the pork tamale: yummy filling with a sweetness to the masa which was a surprise.
My shrimp tacos were delicious—perfectly cooked shrimp with fresh toppings like sliced radishes for crunch.
My husband devoured his tacos (al pastor is his favorite) and said they were all spot-on. The fresh chips and house-made salsas/sauces were outstanding—super unique and flavorful.
The quality really stands out because nothing is frozen or microwaved. We’ll definitely be regulars—highly recommend a visit if you’re in Tampa!

The food is so delicious here and Evelyn the waitress was fantastic! She was so nice and personable. She gave us great recommendations on what to order from the menu. The food is soo yummy and fresh. We ordered the carnitas tacos, Al pastor tacos, and birria tacos. We also had the caldo de res soup and the guac is fab!! We are from Miami, but will definitely be coming back when in the area.
We got there 30 minutes after opening and there were 2 people inside. The entire restaurant was completely packed by the time we left and it makes sense why!! It was so good!

Absolutely AMAZING experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers.

The food was next level. The cooks clearly have serious talent because everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The salsa and queso were incredible, and the chips were perfectly crisp. Every bite was packed with flavor.

The place itself is super cute, colorful, and has such a fun vibe. It feels authentic but also really comfortable.

And the best part? The prices are so affordable for the quality and portion sizes you get. You definitely get more than your money’s worth.

Highly recommend this spot. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We tried out Boda today and it was amazing! Everything we had was delicious. The waitress was very attentive and friendly with us, the inside was so clean and charming. The food came out fast and hot. I wish we had one closer we would eat here so much! It’s definitely worth the trip over from a surrounding county just to get that authentic taste you will want to come back for more!

We were a party of 2 visiting the night before Thanksgiving and it was fantastic. First, they have a drive thru and we did not know that. Dined in. Greeted fast, she was super friendly and respectful; knowledgable on the menu and made recommendations on request! We ordered a 2 & 3 taco combo/each (comes with rice and beans). The carnitas were super flavorful and downright juicy. The Al Pastor was equally a delight. The carne asada was cooked perfectly (not dry at all) and full of flavor. The chips and salsa ranchera was excellent, a real nice restaurant style salsa. There were multiple 46-52in tvs. There’s a gated patio outside that is kid/dog friendly. Plenty of parking. The only challenge was getting into the parking lot, bc you have to enter heading towards 275. Their menu has expanded exponentially since they opened. Yes, you should try this place. Yes, you’re gonna like it. Yes, you’re gonna go again.

I can only say that this place is a work in progress. I gave it a shot and so I don’t know how much longer I should wait, but my experience was not good, the food was prepared so that the vegetables were raw, it was very pretty to look at but the vegetables were way too crunchy. I will give you guys another chance. You just opened, so please listen and do better. My first dish was returned to the kitchen. – Beautiful but super crunchy veggies. 2nd dish was better, not great. I hope my pictures show your food is beautiful. Give me my money back and I will try again, because it was not a good eating experience. It was supposed to be a special treat.

Service was great, even though we were given one less menu until 5 mins later. Food was super super average, we are huge Mexican food eaters and this was subpar. We ordered the Al pastor bowl and the enchiladas vegetales. The flavors didn’t do it for us and the portions was small and expensive for the kind of restaurant it was. I understand it’s a new restaurant so I’d be willing to give it a few months before I return.

Beers are well priced and we might return for another cold corona if nothing else.

Yum! Stopped by for lunch today and everything we ordered was delicious. Super fresh and flavorful. I love that it’s in the old Taco Bell building. It has been beautifully renovated and is clean and inviting. Can’t wait to come back and try other dishes. On this visit we tried the tamale with carnitas, chicharron, black beans and white rice, guacamole and chips, a shrimp taco, caldo de res soup, and flan for dessert. 10/10

Great location, great food, & even better service. Everyone was friendly & helpful explaining the menu, which can be confusing. Very clean from kitchen to dining room & reasonably priced. Got takeout & everything was carefully packed with everything we needed. They’re open late too. Was happy to see not every single TV was dominated by sports; there were a variety of options. Wishing them a lot of success.

I craved authentic Mexican tacos, and they did not disappoint. I ordered el pastor and carnitas with their spicy salsa on the side, and it was delicious. Also, $4 margaritas on a Monday were a special touch on top of the order.
