Best authentic Mexican food around. Drinks are spot on, Fresh Oysters on Friday are best in town, hands down! Family owned and the family cares. This is a local secret location. Tell Rin sent you for his special baked Oysters!

85 to 90 percent of the time it’s wonderful and everything tastes amazing and it’s nice and relaxing to eat at and have your kids with great service and a friendly atmosphere. Some days your food will come out burnt or bland. Don’t be afraid to let them know and they’ll fix it and no don’t be a Karen just let them know politely because you are paying to eat there and if they want a good tip. Since there isn’t really a bar in joelton anymore the bar there can be packed or have some drinks therefore week days are better than the weekend. I’ve went there a ton even through switching owners throughout the last like 4 years a couple times and Ive never been disappointed. I do recommend eating here and even trying it again and again. Oh and try the spicy garlic shrimp on the secret menu and ask for some shells to make tacos out of it. It’s AMAZING!

Ordered tacos. Meat on 2 was crispy as if it had been in a warming pan ALL DAY! This is the third time I’ve eaten here and the consistency has been there that the “cook” doesn’t really know what they are doing!

They will charge you more than you signed for as a card fee. That’s their business expense, not yours. I was not informed, nor was my sister. Businesses should include this in the price listed on the check, the price you agree to pay! You see this often with card charges at stores where people buy only one or two small items because it’s not worth the cost of the bank transaction for the business. We called Don Julio to discuss it, and they were rude and argumentative. They lost our future business, even though we were starting to prefer coming there often. Their loss, and we will contest the charge with our bank. What we sign for is what we should pay; it does not matter how much more, even $0.01! We tipped about 25% on our meal in cash, as we usually tip well. It was a shock to see extra charges and encounter argumentative, rude employees afterward. The food is not the best I have had, but it does the job if you are hungry and in the area. My quesadilla had a lot of grease and unmelted cheese, and my sister said their rice was undercooked. Table service is good, but don’t expect any service beyond that. An apology was never given from them or an ounce of understanding.

We love this place. price for value we save a lot of money here versus other places with the same service. The food has always been delicious, and they always have specials. I wish they would print out the secret menu instead of listing it at the door that would make it a lot more fun.

Solid Mexican food. Tacos were good and they even add sour cream if you want. Enchilada sauce and relleno sauce were quite good, and the relleno was excellent.
We were not fans of the beans, but the rice was yummy.

Placed an order over the phone, arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later aa instructed and door was locked. Nobody looked at me for about ten minutes with people still in the restaurant. Then I was told they had gas a line problem, after a bit I was told the kitchen staff never came to work by another employee . Not sure what is going on but I won’t be back

We were out in this town to pick up some stuff and pretty hungry. This was the only eye catchy place we saw and it happened to be a Mexican restaurant being our favorite cuisine. Their pollo rice plate and tacos are a hit. Very fresh and super tasty. Would definitely recommend this place!
