The happy hour menu was decent with good pricing. I ordered the Cubano Crispy Pork Sandwich. Now, I have had a few of these at different eateries. This version was my least favorite. First of all, I don’t believe the double meat and bread is necessary. It was just too much of a bad thing. The grease over powered the flavors big time. I just don’t understand the choice to use that weird pork meat. Mine was burnt around the edges. It does not compliment the ingredients. Keep in mind that I love Cuban sandwiches. So, this was very disappointing. It is hard to believe that it is a menu favorite.
Even the french fries were mid. The fries were so salty that I think my blood pressure went up while eating them. .
The best part of the visit was the atmosphere and the drinks (discounted for happy hour).
I would go back , but only for drinks. Check them out. I hope that your visit goes better than mine.
Food was great, drinks amazing and recommend this place if you rather not venture into Downtown.
Food: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 1/5
Drink selection is good and the service was really prompt. It does get a little crowded if the hotel has something going on though so keep that in mind.
The set up of the tables makes it so that you can enjoy whatever sports game from any angle. The beer selection is very nice, although I would like more local beers. The food options were very basic, which is ok for a sports bar, but slightly overpriced. We had the Texan Loaded fries, which for $17 feels like a gimmick. Tons of fries that get cold quickly with cheese and three small chicken tenders. The quesadilla was just ok, not amazing but tasty.
I would give this place 3 stars, but since “Restaurant” isn’t even in the name, it makes more sense of what it is. Come here whenever there’s a good game going on, and get a bunch of beers to forget about the food. Cheers!
