Very calming ambience and cleanliness is top tier! We were greeted immediately upon entering with smiling faces and then we were served probably the best Pho we have had in VA beach. I got a small and still left feeling full. This is the best type of meal during this weather. They will be seeing a lot of us in the future. Definitely want to come back to try the coffee!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First I was greeted by the nicest gentleman. He was friendly and welcoming. The waitress who took our order was nice as well. I received my appetizer of wings, they were bland and not seasoned…but searved hot. The problem came when my fried sticky rice and chicken dish came out. Im very familiar with this entre I’ve ordered it many times in the past. The sticky rice was gummy and mushy…not sticky. It was greasy and you could squeeze grease and see it in your fingers. Yuk! Looking at the sticky rice. it looked more like mashed potatoes. The crust on the outside was so hard it stabbed my gums causing pain and it stuck to EVERY tooth it came in contact with. I immediately called the waitress back to the table and shared my concerns. She apologized but said she couldn’t do anything about it. I told her it was not edible. I asked if I could trade it for something else. She said no. She said they have a rule, once it’s served there are no refunds and no exchanges. The waiter tried to hurry and deliver the other dishes literally was running them to the table…but ibstopped him BEFORE it was served. I cancelled the rest of my order that hadn’t been served yet and I left the resturaunt. My two dishes totaled $42 which I paid but I cancelled about $60 worth of food before it came to the table. My fear was it would come out nasty and I would be forced to pay for it. It makes me wonder why they have a policy like that…No refunds after food served…is the food that bad that people constantly refuse it? I told the waitress I would leave a bad review because the food was horrible. She said ok. Never offering any suggestions or trade off. Very disappointed. I’ve never been to a restaurant that refused refunds or exchanges…bad food, poor quality, and I’m forced to pay for it! Horrible . Im very disappointed

We came in for a business meeting lunch on a weekday… they were dead when we got there around noon. While there we found it odd that two different parties came in, the first sat down, chatted with each other a few mins, then left. The second came in, sat down and left also before dining. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that happen in a restaurant before.
Their menu is loaded with many Vietnamese options, including pho and various other soups and stir fry dishes. Service was barely acceptable, she was friendly, but definitely not attentive, nor interested in being there.

One of us got the organic chicken pho and we were both very surprised to see that it came out with huge chunks of bone-in chicken, both dark and white meat – didn’t look very appetizing. The Pho Tai was just ok as well, the beef was shriveled up, unlike any top round/eye steak I’ve had before.

Overall, it was just OK, but nothing special.

We had 2 orders of combination Pho, I added an order of oxtail which were $15 for 2. They were just tender enough but not overly cooked. The broth was pretty good. We also got the grilled chicken and I added yellow rice to it (which was an extra $2). Had Thai tea and a coffee also. Spring rolls were good too. Overall not bad but high in price.

Really fresh and flavorful. Good, friendly service. I had the spicy beef soup and my my husband had classic pho and 2 spring rolls. I thought both broths were outstanding, and I really liked the thick noodles in the beef soup. The beef in the soup was decent – I’ve never really been blown away by the meat in broth noodle type dishes. The prices are fairly high. All that said, I really enjoyed my meal on a cold day and would def eat here again.

started the year off dining in with them. they atmosphere is so clean and calming! the staff was very kind. I got a small beef pho bowl + shrimp, for a small bowl it was a an endless amount of noodles which i appreciated, i couldn’t even finish lol. the chicken was probably more like traditional fried chicken, wasn’t much flavor so im assuming. i will definitely be back

I got the organic chicken pho, thinking it would be better tasting chicken, but the pieces of bone in which I picked out there was little to no chicken on them. It was too tough to eat and that whole plate of chicken is what I picked out of my large pho meal. Flavor was good but again no chicken to eat compared to the nice white meat chicken in the regular chicken pho

The best pho broth in town! The hot stone bowl is a very unique experience and they are very accommodating with meat preferences. Service is friendly and quick. Absolutely give this place a try, the flavor beats out any other pho I’ve had

I moved from Northern Virginia area and a Vietnamese person and I can proudly say this is the best pho in the area that I’ve had so far.

I won’t put down another pho place I have in mind but this spot definitely gave me hope for Vietnamese cuisine in the area.
The broth was complex, you could definitely tell it was made with care and no corners were cut. You can taste the natural beef essence and you’re able to tell there were bones simmered in the broth! Ran by Vietnamese too so you know it has an extra touch of authenticity unlike some other chains here ran by Filipinos/Thai

Our second time coming to Pho House and once again, it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious. The owner, Jay, is so personable, and you can tell she truly enjoys every dish she serves to her customers. Highly recommend!
