Second time coming to AM BBQ and they absolutely don’t miss. I’ve lived in Austin, Texas, so I don’t say this lightly, this BBQ is just as good as many of the top spots in Texas and easily worth the drive.
The brisket is incredible, perfect bark, juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Every meat we tried was on point, and the sides are just as good (which is rare for a BBQ spot). You can tell everything is made with care and attention to detail.
What really stood out was the hospitality. The owner is super friendly, takes pride in the craft, and even took the time to show us the pits. That level of passion really shows in the food.
The place is also very clean, the staff is welcoming, and the whole experience feels authentic.
If you’re serious about BBQ, this is one of the best spots around. I’ll definitely be back again.

Brisket: a classic done so well
Jalapeño cheddar sausage: fun take on a sausage, great meatiness, recommend.
Oxtail: worth working on the bone for, smoky meaty, rich.
Pork ribs: melts off the bone and the muted saltiness of the meat gives you the opportunity to color your flavor palate however you want with their sauce.
The collard greens, Mac and cheese, jalapeño cornbread, and baked beans were solid side choices. For two people two got 2x two meat combos. The owners are dope, vibes are great, and highly recommend you visit!
Also: their potato salad is fresh, perfectly seasoned and less mayo forward to cut the fat of the meat. Their hit is probably their turkey which was so moist, we’ll be getting for thanksgiving!

Stopped in here for a late lunch after catching a movie. Absolutely amazing customer service from the staff as well as the owner. I cannot express how delicious and tender the meat was! We went with the brisket and pork rib and the flavor on both was incredible as well as the dipping sauce it was also super yummy. Got the banana pudding to go & had it the next day and it was great! Honestly great prices as well. will definitely be coming back here 🙂

WOW! We had a great experience. I’d read about how good it was on the Sonoma County Foodies FB page. We came in on a Friday afternoon. Staff was super friendly and made great suggestions. We tried brisket, oxtail, collard greens, mac, honey cornbread, beans, the spicy sauce, and banana pudding. They were all excellent. Full disclosure: finding parking was not super easy but it hardly is in this town–but it’s worth it for this place. We just parked one street east.

Honestly, I am not a big BBQ person, but i’ve heard good things. I came in with semi-high hopes and good lord…I was impressed. The chicken, the brisket, the PUDDING…spot freaking on. I’d consider this spot kid friendly and also family friendly! They have some activities inside (toddler toy and chess). The staff were great— they checked up on us, treated us with kindness and were the businesses hype men. They treated the business like their own with the way they hyped up the food (it lived up to the hype). Hearing one of them say “I was so excited when I got the job here”, really made me happy to support this business. I’d 1000% be back here again. I loved it! I’ll be dreaming of the mac and cheese, and the pudding. I was blown away!

I’m not usually a huge bbq fan but this place has changed my mind completely! Some of the best food you’ll eat in the area. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful and homemade – my first love was the Mac n cheese but the oxtail is my new favorite. It’s so tender and the flavor is out of this world. But you can’t go wrong with anything here. The staff is very friendly and the vibes are great all around. Highly recommend!

I don’t use Google for reviews but it is totally worth posting one for A&M! Service was EXCELLENT when we first walked in! All smiles & hellos! They guided us on how to order. Gave us a sample of the smoked turkey, it was so good I got it on a sandwich! Everything was so delicious! I’m still thinking about the cornbread! We visited Texas and always talk about how good the BBQ is there and this totally reminded us of the delicious Texas BBQ!! Highly recommend coming here!

Just the best bbq in Sonoma County! (Though the competition isn’t tooooo stiff here, outside of some overpriced spots) The turkey is awesome, the oxtail is even better, and the owner is a really nice guy. If you’re in the North Bay or Wine Country, this BBQ spot is an absolute must-visit. Hands down, it’s the best BBQ in the area. I had the smoked half chicken, and it was incredibly tender and juicy.

As for the sides, the beans were fantastic, full of flavor. The potato salad was decent, though not particularly memorable, and I’m not a big fan of their coleslaw.
