My boyfriend and I went in to have a drink after a long day at work and to wait while our food was being prepared next door. My boyfriend asked for a double neat pour of whiskey to sip on while we sat and talked. The bartender, while she was nice, stated that the owner did not allow doubles to be poured and that it was illegal by OLCC. Every other establishment in the state of Oregon we have ever visited, including one just a few days ago, has no problem with a double neat pour.

The 238 Bar is an unexpected gem!! There are pool tables, video lottery, TV’s to watch the games, frequent live bands, DJ’s, open mic nights, plus awesome specials on drinks and delicious food (even vegetarian options)! They have a full bar, rotate seasonal beers, and create seasonal cocktails. The staff are all incredible, and the ambiance is fun and relaxing. Thank you 238 Bar!

All ages are welcomed. Pool tournaments every day and night. Bands are hood. Slot machines payouts are good. Savanah, Kira, Brittany, Berguindy keep the customers fed and the liquor coming. The closing time of 0230 allows people to end the nights making new friends. Security is good and it’s a safe establishment to meet others.
