Find a local craft beer, hand-crafted cocktail, gourmet sandwich, or creative entree in our on-site restaurant, Market Kitchen & Bar. Our gastropub takes your favorite staple dishes and elevates them through a more unique approach. It’s where the classic burger is relished with caramelized rosemary onions, pepper bacon and local cow tipper cheese instead of the typical bacon and American slice. Never miss a minute of your game when you have drinks from our full bar. We have a giant flat-screen TV to display all the action. It’s always party time at the Market Kitchen & Bar, so meet up with your friends for creative drinks, fresh food, and laughs. You do not need to be a registered guest of the hotel to patronize the restaurant!

Great Atmosphere. Great staff. All of the bartenders and servers make your visit enjoyable every time. The drinks are always good and the food exceeds any expectations of a hotel Restaraunt/Bar. In fact the steak and salmon are better than many other pricey local establishments of which cost 3-4 times the amount. All around great choice if you’re in the Christiana area. Thank you Nancy and Joel !!!

I ordered a Calamari appetizer that was very disappointing. They served it in a soup bowl to make it look bigger than it was; however, the actual amount of the portion was VERY small. I was going to have it for a meal, but it was so small I had to order something else. I counted the pieces of calamari as I ate them. The total amount was 11 bites. The cost of the dish was $19.00…! That’s a total cost of $1.73 for every bite..! That’s totally RIDICULOUS! I’ve ordered calamari from other restaurants before and have never had an experience like this.
I ordered a burger, which was good, that came with sweet potato fries; $2.00 up-charge. Burger was good; however, the calamari was a ripoff!!!
• Food – 2 stars only because of the calamari
• Service was a Solid 5 stars!! Emma was Great!!
• Atmosphere was a 5 in my opinion… my style of an atmosphere. Your style may differ..!
—- Total cost of Calamari, burger with sweet potato fries, and Xtra Marinara sauce was $42.00… less tip.

My husband took me here for my 30th birthday, and I’ll admit—I was hesitant at first (being picky and pregnant at the time). But I had to take it back—the food was absolutely exquisite and filling. My favorite is the salmon entrée with the mashed potatoes, hands down! It’s a small, cozy spot with dim lighting and a quiet atmosphere, which makes it perfect for us on date nights. Now with two babies, it’s become our go-to local getaway.

2 stars only for the happy hour apps, which were pretty good, but 1 star for everything else.
The food was under seasoned or not seasoned at all, fatty to the point of inedible, plates came out with food all over the sides, drinks were so strong they were not drinkable and the server couldn’t pronounce the menu items as well as not knowing what was available for happy hour.
I typically don’t like posting bad reviews but I saw quite a few positive ones regarding this restaurant, so I thought it would be worth checking out. I left $56 later for my food and drink alone still hungry and honestly with a bad taste literally and figuratively in my mouth. I just wanted to put this out there in case someone else was thinking of dining here.

My husband and I traveled to Wilmington, DE from Wilmington, NC to photograph a wedding. I have anaphylactic food allergies and was concerned about possibly having a reaction this close to the wedding. We chose to eat at the Market Kitchen and Bar inside of the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana where we are staying. Charles, one of the Chefs, came out to our table and helped me select something that would be safe to eat. I ate the NY strip steak (cooked to perfect medium perfection) and double broccolini. The favor was amazing and they were both cooked perfectly. Charles came out to check on my food and let me know that Keith made my steak. If you have a chance to eat at this Restuarant, I would highly recommend it… especially if you have food allergies. I was kept safe and I got to enjoy a delicious, flavor-filled meal! Thank you gentlemen!!

Food was great, atmosphere was nice. Service could of been better. Hate having to wait til the very end of a 3 course meal to get a single refill on drinks.

Fine food, menu has downsized from previous trips which is unfortunate…. But for some reason the hotel manager charges $5 additional if you want to order to-go…….. because that makes sense

The restaurant was full of very loud men when we went Thursday evening. We waited about 10 minutes, but no one ever came to serve us and it was just so loud. We left and ordered room service (which comes from this restaurant). The food and drinks were good, but I’m glad we were able to go somewhere else to enjoy them. Also, the prices listed online are wrong, and the 2 glasses we got had minor chips.

I had the burger, it was so big and dry it fell apart as soon as I picked it up. I had to use a fork and knife to eat it with a pc packet of mayonnaise. But the bartender was extremely nice.
