Showed up with a group of friends last night (Friday Jan 10th) after a birthday party with the birthday girl to have a few drinks. 11pm were told immediately when we walked in they had already done last call. A few others at the bar were clearly irritated they were being asked to leave as well. I told them we had 10 people in our group on the way and we would make it worth it (tipping very generously) if they would stay open. Hours state open until 1am. Bartender looked at server who shook her head no and they sent us away. Headed down to On the Rocks with the other patrons they kicked out and had a blast. Look elsewhere to give your business because Refs out west clearly doesn’t need it.

Had been wanting ring to try Refs for some time. Overall it was an OK experience.
The facility is new and well taken care of. It was very clean and inviting. Great patio that was dog friendly from theoom of it.
We were greeted at our table about 4 minutes after we sat down. The server was polite. We had asked her about a couple menu items but she was too new to tell us much. To her credit she was honest and didn’t just make something up.
We ordered Chislic, that is sirloin steak bites for you non South Dakotans. Had never heard of this dish until I met my wife from SD. The steak bits came on a skewer and were well seasoned. These were ordered rare and cooked perdectly. Tots were ordered as a side but we got fries. Dish was $12.
Off the kids menus we went for the chicken strips for $7. Daughter orded fries and was pleased. Meal came with three full size strips. They tasted pretty good..slight hint of fish as i am guessing they were fried in same oil as their fried fish offerings.
I had the Philly. It comes with onion, green peppers and provolone. I had ordered no green peppers. The sandwich was large and the first bite had a ton off green peppers…had to send it back since they did not fix it as ordered. Second sandwich came out correctly. They really should ccok the onions longer so they are a bit softer. There was a generous amount of cheese which was nice and the roll was good as well. I chose fries as my side. They have krinkle cut fries which I love. The issue here was the fries were under cooked. Sandwich was $12.
Soft drinks were $3.50 and wine was served by the half bottle or at least the kind my wife got. It was $9 and felt like a good value. Wife had asked for water when the server greeted us, then again 10 mins later and by the time our hour was over we still had nit seen it.
Our server was not very attentive as evidenced by the lack of water, my drink had set empty for at least 5 mins before I had to flag her down. The place was about half full at this time.
Management should keep and eye on their young workers. They seemed as interested in looking at their phones, messing with their hair and taking selfish of themselves, as they were in working.
We will go back to try it one more time but our high hopes were not met on this first visit.

Do NOT miss their Monday special ! Succulent, tender roast beef perfectly seasoned with mashed potatoes and gravy. A surprise under the massive beef is a delicious crunchy butter-toasted bread. The pork tenderloin is thick and a huge portion. (The photo speaks for itself)! The club sandwich is always a favorite for a companion. Great food- Sports bar- patio seating available-tucked away in neighborhood off Harrison Street. Glasses always kept full by attentive servers!

Beautiful bar! Finally made it here to try it out, and was not disappointed. There are so many tvs in here, it’s crazy! We went for lunch around 1:30 in the afternoon and there were not that many people inside, so it was nice and quiet. There was only one server working the whole restaurant when we were there, and we still received excellent service. I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich, and it was cooked a perfect shade of golden brown and tasted amazing. The same was true for the tots. Will definitely be returning to try more menu items.

I have searched over and over for a really good cauliflower pizza where you truly can’t tell the difference. Ref’s nailed it!!! And they have good ranch. (Always a winner in our house). – we always get it to go and it’s still good.

All around 5 stars, my fiancée and I love coming to Refs, GiGi is a great server but she isn’t all. They are always quick to bring out food and the drinks are always mixed perfectly by the bartender, they definitely go above and beyond. We highly recommend their wings, shrimp and BBQ pizza. Thank you so much for being great! ☺️

Five star experience! Considering they just started serving breakfast, it was amazing to see they already mastered it. The food was among the best I’ve had in Omaha for breakfast. Prices were affordable, staff was extremely attentive, atmosphere was perfect, and the owner came over and greeted/thanked us. Do yourself a favor, and go to Ref’s!

Calm & not too busy. Outside seating is very comfortable. The staff was prompt and did not hover. We order the steak skewers which were excellent and the pork tenderloin- pounded thin.
