Amazing customer service goes a long way. The young lady up front was extremely polite and helpful. Sometimes I can’t decide what I want. But she helped me with easy figure out something new and amazing for me to try. I may just come back simply for the amazing customer service here. If I could put zero stars I would! We always buy our pizza from Zilla Pizza In Ansonville but my husband decided to try Lunas this time because it was on his way home from work. The pizza was AWFUL!!! Frozen pizza from the Dollar General tastes better than this place. The pizza barely had any cheese or sauce, it tasted like crunchy cardboard, it was missing toppings that we paid for, it was over cooked and so thin you could see through it. As you can see in the picture’s, this pizza is PATHETIC! When my husband looked at it and said THIS is what you get for $33!!?? They made it very clear we will NOT remake your pizza. The pictures speak for themselves but needless to say we will NEVER eat here again. We will go….out….of…..our…. way….. to always go to Zilla’s! Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money! This happened on June 24th 2024.

Great pizza, nice restaurant. They’ve done some upgrades here and it’s very nice. It feels very clean but the first thing I noticed is a musty smell like perhaps the rugs or mop heads aren’t clean. I quickly got used to it and it didn’t impact my meal in any way so not a big deal but that was my first impression.
You do order at the counter here. Then sit down with a table number. They bring out your food. You clean up your table yourself as you leave.
We all ordered slices. They are huge, like big as your head huge so keep that in mind when ordering. You may not need two slices here! You can also eat it like a traditional New York slice! The taste was perfect! I sprinkled some parmesan and red pepper flakes on it and it really made it awesome! Very impressed with the taste of this pizza.
We also ordered garlic knots. They were very oily which I thought at first was a bad thing. I later discovered if you dip those knots in the oil, it tastes amazing!! I loved the parmesan on them. I think they’d be better if the oil was on the side for dipping. I may try asking for that next time.
My husband ordered a salad and while I chose not to get one because they didn’t have homemade dressing (which I found was wrong. If you order the oil and vinegar, it appears to be made in house), I was a bit jealous. It had several toppings including banana peppers and looked delicious.
There is a handicap accessible ramp to the front door. You do have to be on gravel before reaching the ramp
Overall this place is great! They’re getting ready to offer delivery through GrubHub which I think will be great!! Especially for those of us that don’t like to come to Oakboro because of the 20 speed limit! Ha
Edit: on second return, no weird dirty smell! I did feel like they changed the oil and vinegar but I’m not totally sure. Had an Italian sub this time. Aside from not really liking the Italian dressing this time (oil and vinegar), it was pretty good. If I had to do it over, I would not get the ham and would sub it for pepperoni or something. I just didn’t like the ham that much. Otherwise it was good but the pizza is still the winner here in my opinion!

Every time I order from this location togo I have never received actually what I ordered. This is now multiple times I have had to return to the store to pick up food that was left out of a large order.Also they now have a cash price and CC price!! What is this shit!! For my family of 3 cash price $92 but my CC price was $100
