I had a good experience at this Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the food tasted good overall. However, compared to other Mexican restaurants I’ve tried, the amount of meat was quite limited compared to the vegetables, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the portion sizes were smaller than what I’ve seen at similar places. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but I expected better in terms of portion size and balance of ingredients.

Unfortunately, I feel forced to leave this negative review, even though I have been a loyal customer for many years. I’ve eaten here regularly, at least once a month, and until now I never had an issue.
Last night, we ordered three carne asada plates for three adults, and within hours all three of us became seriously ill. We experienced severe, uncontrollable vomiting, and the symptoms were intense. One of the three adults had to go to the hospital.
Based on the timing and the fact that we all ate the same meal, this strongly appears to have been food poisoning. I can’t say exactly what went wrong, but it raises concerns — whether the meat was not fresh, improperly stored or handled, or if there were food safety issues in the kitchen.
I truly regret having to write this review, especially after being a long-time customer, but this was a very serious experience and something others should be aware of. I sincerely hope management takes this seriously and reviews their food handling and safety procedures.

Excellent service. Huge plates and tasty traditional Mexican food. Kids friendly. Parking can be difficult though.

This is a very very good restaurant with fresh and delicious food. They have draft beer and a full bar. We started with chicken taquitos. They were excellent! They were not over fried and had a generous amount of chicken. Then we shared the fajita combo that had shrimp, steak and chicken. The veggies were perfectly fried and very good. We really enjoyed our food and experience here and will definitely return.

I decided to come here since I was craving some Mexican food after work. I got the Molcajete which the staff warned me that it might be too much for me but I still decided to get it anyways. The food was great even though I did end up taking left overs home. I did have to ask to get my drink refilled a few times but thats to be expected with how busy they were on a Saturday night. Definitely coming here again when I have a craving for Mexican food

Everything was awesome . The food was superb. It is a must try restaurant for sure. The meat was so tender and soft and tasty. The chicken and the shrimps were flavourful. Even the rice and beans and the guacamole were delicious. Try it you won’t regret it

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Kirkland! My favorite thing to get is the Chicken Molé Enchilada (best molé on thé Eastside), but today I got the Cheese Enchiladas. So good. Hubby ordered the soup of the day, albondigas (meatballs). Oh my gosh! I stole quite a bit of it. Good thing it was a HUGE bowl. Our server, Catlos, cousin of the owner, was very attentive. We’ll be back next time we’re craving Mexican food.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Half the restaurant was freezing, the salsa tasted like watered-down tomato paste, the enchiladas were salty and drowning in gravy, the tacos came on cheap tortillas — and to top it all off, I found a HAIR baked into my food. Absolutely disgusting. Never going back.
