Miss Hickory’s Tea Room welcomes its patrons back to the ‘turn-of-the-century.’ They will be greeted by our Hostesses and Servers who will be dressed in early 1900s attire. When one enters the tea room, they will feel as though they’ve stepped back in time … to a peaceful, more relaxing time. They will sit back and enjoy the surroundings, listening to music of days gone by, while sipping a nice hot cup of tea and enjoying some delicious food!

Scones so good you would think there’s crack in them! But there is obviously not 🙂

This was my first visit, and everything—from the food to the tea—was absolutely divine. The owners and staff are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about what they do. The customer service made the entire experience even more special. I can’t wait to come back!

I enjoyed my time at the tea room from beginning to end. Monique was excellent and very attentive to our party. The pumpkin butter on the scones were the best!! The experience was awesome and we all had a great time with the cutest egg salad and cucumber sandwich’s ever !!

Adorable place! Location slightly tucked away, so you really feel like you’re stepping back in time. Decor was lovely, the food was excellent -get the quiche! And the staff just great!

We make time to go to Miss Hickory’s on every trip to Ohio. Kona has a great setup, friendly servers, and a large selection of tea. Many kinds, white, green and black tea, with flavors like pumpkin, apple cinnamon, and vanilla chai. ☕️ Great soups, Swiss cheese topped quiche and a variety of sandwiches. Scone favorites are cinnamon and chocolate chip! Macaroons are coconut filled deliciousness too! For the warmer weather they have a nice patio, but we prefer to be inside with all the ornate and unique teapots. Great place always crowded, need reservations!

I attended a birthday tea party at Miss Hickory’s. The staff was amazing from the moment I went in to inquire about booking the event all the way up until the actual party. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend having your next gathering here.

Hidden gem. Wonderful tea selection. Scones are perfect. Chocolate cake which is pictured is beautiful but not as scrumptious as I expected. Reservations required in advance. Room for birthdays etc. Very typical tea room decor. Everything was delicious.

Took my 10 yr old daughter for a bday tea. Perfect ambiance, lovely decor, and very nice service. The tea was delicious, food was good too; small portions, but that’s kind of what high teatime is all about. Would like a bit more Devonshire cream and jam with the scones. Taste was great though! Will definitely return.

I visited Miss Hickory’s tea room with my sister. We enjoyed it, but it didn’t quit hit all my marks. I’m happy I tried it, but I’m not sure I’ll be back. They charge for each pot of tea and desserts separate from the tea service. I liked the BLT, egg salad, & cucumber sandie, but I could not stomach the chicken salad. The lemon loaf was dry but tasty, and there was only 2 fresh strawberries, 1 for each of us as the fruit. They also charge separately for the cup of soup, which was a very thin potato, but good, they could have topped with with cheese to add a needed saltiness.

Pleasant service and desserts, but everything savory needed salt. I loved the devonshire cream, but the scone was more like a biscuit. I got a holiday spice black tea that tasted stale and off-putting which I struggled through. I also got the pumpkin spice black and it was absolutely outstanding however it wasn’t served with warm milk as it stated. My sister got lemon green and it was stellar. All around good atmosphere and decent experience.

Last note, it smelled like fresh step when I walked in. My sister and I are allergic to cats, there had to have been some there. She broke out and I’m in immunotherapy and was very uncomfortable by the time I left. I wanted to give 3 stars, but as I said, I do not think I could go back.

Cute location! Great tea selection and kids menu was ok as well. I wish they served the kids hot chocolate in a tea kettle like another tea room we went to or cut the sandwich into a cute shape for kids – as that previous location did this and that enhanced our time there. Had High Tea and the food was good. The chicken salad should have a heartier base as the wonton is too thin to balance the chicken salad topping. The service was decent – could have been better considering they weren’t busy and require reservations. Several time we had to seek out our waitress.
