A nice rival to the classic chicken finger joint that will not be named. I actually really enjoyed their food. Pretty decently seasoned, reasonable prices, and really nice sauces. I got to try their chicken finger sandwich and the laynes sauce.
The chicken was well cooked and breaded well too. Not a ton of spice but still flavorful. The sauces are what really made it delicious. Both the ranch and the laynes sauce were really good. Creamy, decent portion, and the Laynes sauce had a tad of spice to it.
All in all, I definitely recommend it for a quick and cheap bite. Nice chicken spot.

My wife, daughter, and I stopped by Layne’s Chicken Fingers – Pittsburgh for lunch and had such a great experience! From the moment we ordered, the gentleman at the counter was extremely friendly and welcoming. Once our food was ready, the lady at the window was just as pleasant and kind.

What really stood out was how attentive the staff was. The gentleman who helped us made sure everything tasted great and even offered to take our daughter’s high chair back for us. That level of service doesn’t go unnoticed.
It’s also a great location being right on Pitt’s campus with plenty of seating, which made it easy and comfortable for our family to enjoy lunch together.
Great food, great people, great experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Every bite was better than the last, and I couldn’t stop eating. But what really sets Layne’s apart is their Layne’s sauce. It’s addictive! The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. You definitely get your money’s worth here, especially considering how tasty everything is. On top of all that, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, making my to-go order quick and easy. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back for more. First time trying this place. I was told to give it a try, and boy, will I not regret that. This was by far one of the best chicken restaurants I’ve tried. The service was excellent and fast. Food was well prepared. Layne’s sauce is phenomenal. (Not pictured) The spicy chicken tenders are absolutely delicious. If you’re in the area and craving chicken, I highly recommend stopping by and giving this a try.

This was easily a 5/5 experience for me, the chicken is halal!! It was priced well, extremely delicious, and came out ridiculously fast! The portions aren’t huge, but honestly they are fine and for a few dollars more you can add more fingers Ala carte. I honestly didn’t think it was going to be good at first judging by early reviewers but they are completely off. This place is fantastic I am very happy it replaced halal guys and I can’t wait to go again!
