We were visiting Lake George and decided to stop by here—and I’m really glad we did. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and tasted fresh. On top of that, the customer service was amazing—super friendly and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely a great spot to stop if you’re in the area. La Cocina Mexicana is a hidden gem in Glens Falls! The food is fresh, authentic, and truly homemade—you can taste the love in every bite. We had an amazing lunch, and the tortilla soup is an absolute must. So good we ate it too fast to even take photos! My family has loved this place (and El Mexicano) since my sister and I were babies. We feel like we have been raised in part by these kind people, their amazing food and incredible generosity. The meals come with delicious chips and salsa, and often quesadillas and a side of rice and beans, and if you go on a birthday they will give you a free dessert! My favorite is Carne Tampiqueña and other family favorites are the Niños envueltos, fajitas, and the burritos! We love this business so much and they have the best Mexican food by FAR in the surrounding area!

Great and what I believe is very authentic Mexican food. It’s a super small place with 6 or 7 tables so it’s not always easy to find a table. Everything we tried was delicious, including the quesadillas, the chicken burritos and the enchiladas.

Excellent ceviche, which is a rarity in this part of the country. Tiny place, with really interesting artwork on the walls and tables. Super nice couple runs the place. Not crowded for lunchtime, on the day we went.

Decent Mexican food go to. Tacos are typically on point, rice and beans are ok and not anything out of the ordinary. The chicken tortilla soup had spaghetti which was different and not what I would have wanted. Their salsa is pretty good with all raw ingredients.
