Good food, friendly staff, seating with a river view…what’s not to like?? There is plenty of seating, a stage for live music (I’m not sure if they have it though), a pool table, and video games. The food was quick and very tasty! They also have an amazing collection of beer cans! Definitely a hidden gem on the river!

1st time here & definitely not the last. Had the unbreaded tenderloin basket. Guessing about ½#, juicy, hot, & tasty. Fries were served very hot too. Coleslaw was good, had better & had worse. Looking forward to a Friday night whole catfish dinner!
Was surprised at how much seating they have. Has to be 100+ in the screened in area & probably close to 100 inside? Lots of parking. Seasonal, 10/29/23 is last day open this year.

Came back on Friday 10/13 hoping to have some good catfish. Unfortunately it was extremely disappointing. Nice light breading & looked great. I’m assuming they purchased pre-breaded frozen catfish as mine were not cooked at all along the bone. If you eat whole catfish, you know how the meat flakes off the bones easily. Couldn’t even scrape the meat off the bone. WORST whole catfish I’ve ever had.
The baked potato was also slightly under cooked.
I don’t like to write poor reviews & generally don’t. Just hoping the owners will read & correct this as it potentially could have been pretty good.

Alot of good dishes to choose from, plenty of seating and unique atmosphere. Definitely worth the trip.

It is getting late in the season (I hear the restaurant closes in winter) so many food options were not available. But once we found an item they had, it was good. As it was fairly busy, the staff was crabby and impatient. All said, I will return to see how the restaurant performs during its normal season.

This is one of our favorite spots to visit. This last visit was absolutely terrible. As soon as we walked in at 8:00 we where greeted by a very unfriendly women shouting WE CLOSE AT 9. We only had 4 people in our party. When we ordered we were informed half the menu wasn’t available because the oven was already turned off. While we waited
For our food we witnessed this women also shout at another couple who walked in at 8;15 that they close at 9. That couple ordered and ate by 830. Our baked potato was burnt on the outside and hard in the middle. It’s so sad this was our experience because we do really enjoy the atmosphere. I don’t know if we will be back.

There is no end to the awesomeness that is The Lighthouse! The food is absolutely fantastic! My personal favorite are the fried pickles and breaded tenderloin! My husband loves those fat, juicy burgers (FYI the “double” burgers stand about 4 inches tall). Sit on the screened in deck and enjoy a view of the Mighty Mississippi. Best way to get there? By BOAT, of course! But highway 22 is an acceptable route too! 🙂 Call ahead to find out about the specials, which range from a catfish dinner to prime rib! FYI – they are only open seasonally!

Great place on the river. Whether you get there by boat or asphalt you’ll get great food and service. No frills just great prices and the mighty Mississippi to look out on. Its our Sunday family spot…. so go a different day….

Don’t let the disposable plate fool you. Nor the fact you have to pick up your meal at the counter. And order it there. Just as good as a place with table service. Look out on the main channel of the Mississippi. The ribeye was done well. Not a crazy amount of onion rings. And the cole slaw … delicioso! Will be back! Don’t know how we missed this venue in the past. P.S.: Love the urinal humor.

A few days late but… I got the catfish fillets they were bland and the french fries came unsalted but there was salt at the table. The other half got the prime rib which was over cooked and as he was eating it, it was like it came cold. The flavor was there for the prime rib and it was good. I loved the view of river. It was a different experience, for me anyways.

What a hidden gem of a dive riverfront restaurant and bar. We were there on a Sunday evening for dinner. Lots of cars in the parking lot, but there was plenty of seating with multiple dining rooms and a bar. Although it’s fully indoors, it feels as if you are eating outside by the river because there’s no AC. They have many ceiling fans and large industrial size fans to keep the place cool enough to enjoy yourself. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s an experience. The prices are reasonable. I had a 12oz ribeye and potato with a side of coleslaw and a drink for under $25. My only complaint is that there were no steak knives to use. They only offer plastic ware.
