Our first time here, food is excellent. We ordered Pad See Ew, Num Tuk, and Thai Boat Noodle. All (3) dishes were excellent. It’s a hidden gem. Fair price.
Family run business. Blai (owner) is really nice. Definitely will be back.

We had such a lovely dinner, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! The Pho Thai-style noodle was super unique and warm, just right for a cozy evening. And oh my gosh, the tea salad? It was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor! The chicken dish was also a hit. We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Just had dinner at their new location. It was amazing! Had the Pad Kra Prao (Thai Basil) beef over rice. So much rich flavor. The sauce and seasoning was perfect. The egg and rice help cut the spice.
And my spouse had the chicken fried rice.
Both were fantastic.
Got a Thai tea and Mango Sticky Rice to go.

The BEST AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD in Indiana!!!
I have tried many but this place felt like every flavor was made exactly for my taste buds. I just love the food, presentation, price, cleanliness, the interior of the new place, the hospitable owner, EVERYTHING! Thank God they are now open in Noblesville, they moved from Indianapolis. If you’re craving for Thai Food, the best pad thai and beef stew, and my fave fried tilapia comes with special Thai sauce…This is just my GO TO place
Can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu

The flavor of the Panama curry is very good! My issue is with how they cut the kaffir lime leaves into strips and leave them in the curry. It’s annoying as hell having to unstick them from the roof of your mouth or the back of your throat constantly. It completely ruined the dish for me. Please just leave the leaves whole so we can pick them out! If it wasn’t for this I would give 5 stars.

Edit* As of October 2025 they moved to Noblesville. Htaw Metta is one of the most authentic Indonesian/Burmese food near the Indy Metro area, and family owned. The quality of their food is top notch. I love their Thai Boat Noodle, Burmese Fried Noodles, Pad Thai, fried rice, and sushi. All the dishes I’ve tried were great. The owners are friendly and attentive.

This place is the real deal! Everything we had was packed full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The stir fry dishes had a delectable balance of sweet and salty and unctuousness (not to mention chewiness from the noodles), as well an incredible aroma (or “wok hei”). The tea leaf salad meanwhile was a unique and quite delicious mix of pickled, savory, and crunchy elements, and something I would definitely order again. The service was super prompt and attentive, the environment was clean (if unremarkable) and the prices can’t be beat. My only complaint was that the food wasn’t spicy enough… that is, until our server brought out the dried bird’s eye chilis!
