Ordered two chicken tacos and one carne asada. I was a bit hesitant after reading comments about portion size and weighing, but portions were solid and nothing was weighed. Service was friendly, and the tacos were excellent. The carne asada was tender with a great smoky grilled flavor — customized that one with pickled onions and spicy chimi-aioli and it was fantastic. Would definitely order again.

Poppo’s Taqueria is on a completely different level. If you like Chipotle, just stop—this is fundamentally better in every way. The made-to-order tortillas alone are worth the visit, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh, well-seasoned, and balanced. Dont even get me started on the quesadillas which are so simple but shouldn’t be slept on. Even the house sodas are delicious and pair perfectly with the food. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and every bite tastes like it was made with real care. An easy 5 stars and a place you’ll want to come back to often.

Food is legendary but PLEASE, every-time I order a “basic taco”, they ring it up as a “build your own taco” which about 70 cents more. This matters, because the basic is only two toppings but theyre charging me as if I ordered a build your own which allows more toppings. I only order 2 toppings and every employee has to correct the transaction EVERYTIME back to basic. All the employees ring basic up wrong even after I tell them its basic and the food prepper tells them its basic. So watch your charges before swiping. PLEASE train them on the difference and ringing it up right. Other than that its great food. Small portions but high quality. I could easily eat 5 tacos but only order 3 to save money. The orange soda they make is epic btw.

Paid $50 for three quesadillas that were extremely tiny, ordered a side of chips that was four dollars and they literally gave us less than a handful!!!! absolutely disgraceful and I will never be ordering here again. Cannot believe that they have the gall to charge that much and ask for a tip with a teeny tiny portions and subpar food!!!!!!

Authentic Corn tortillas made in front of you not warmed ! Amazing place highly recommend it was fresh and delicious. Best place in town.

Tacos are extremely small, and 2 cost $9. Definitely not worth the money. The biggest container was of beans and rice. The drinks are kid sized cups. I dont understand how this place has such good ratings.

The food was very delicious. We had a bowl,, a burrito, and two tacos, everything was amazing. The chips and salsa were very good. All the ingredients were well thought off and put together. Everything was fresh. We had their mango tea to drink, it too was very good.

Nice little weekday lunch spot, it’s nothing fancy. It is fast casual like a Chipotle. You can order from the overhead menu or create your own and they make it in front of you. You can add a 1/2 order of chips and a fountain soda to your order for $3.5. That’s what I did and the chips were fresh and HOT. They have an independent carbonated beverage in the fountain (not Coke or Pepsi) which was nice. Staff was sufficiently nice.
