This place was so cute, all of the decorations inside were extremely nice and they had extremely good chocolate chip cookies! The caramel latte I got as well was absolutely delicious. When I’m back there I’d love to try more they have a really good diverse menu that kinda leaves it open to anyone! – Also the staff were extremely nice and really friendly! I just asked a few simple quick question but the lady was so patient with me thanks so much!! Will be back soon

This is a brilliant little spot for a quick, affordable bite. The bagels and breakfast rolls were excellent — fresh, tasty, and really filling. Coffee and tea were decent, and prices are very reasonable with no tips needed.
We also tried a lemon cupcake and a cookie with cream, both of which were absolutely delicious. A nice surprise!
Service was a touch brisk, but nothing that got in the way of a good experience. Overall, a great place for breakfast or a sweet treat without breaking the bank.

I’ve lived in southeastern Connecticut my entire life and I can’t believe this was my first time here. I got a bacon egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel which was delicious and I got a cinnamon roll which is honestly one of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. I will definitely be going back to try more of their baked goods and a drink next time. This is a window service only spot and it’s located right by the water. There are some tables outside that you can sit at. There’s a parking lot behind the building you can park in or you can park on the street.

Came here one morning in search of coffee and pastry, we chose wisely.
Yes, it’s window service only, hence the picture of the counter, but the staff are friendly and helpful.
The cappuccino and latte (larte per a funny mispronounciation) were perfectly made. I had a pistachio scone and my wife had a orange cranberry coffee cake, both were delicious (pictured).
We sat at a table near the adjacent seafood place. Of course people can find a pleasant spot to enjoy coffee and pastry nearby.
Regardless this is a good place.

Five Stars! Lis Bakeshop is a gem! The bagels are perfectly crispy and nicely toasted – a real treat. I especially loved the pizza bagel flavor; it was delicious and unique. The location is also lovely, with a charming shop decorated with flowers and situated near the sea with colorful beaches, making for a delightful atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and the overall vibe was great. My only suggestion would be to offer the option to build a veggie sandwich using their fantastic bagels. That would make it absolutely perfect for everyone! Highly recommend checking this place out!

No frills breakfast sandwich is extremely simple yet high quality, a true crowd pleaser. Simultaneously crisp and soft bagel, deliciously melted American cheese, a great sausage patty, [chef’s kiss]. And it comes out quick (but not suspiciously too quick). The cinnamon roll is the sugar rush you’re looking for to balance out the savoriness of the breakfast sandwich. Coffee is hot and exceedingly drinkable. No one item screams, “to die for,” but when you’re dying at 7am on a Sunday and your whole order hits, that’s the sign of the true craftsmanship. Go to Lis’ and be satisfied.

I really enjoyed the croissant and lemon bars from this bake shop. I also had a lavender latte, which was lovely. The pumpkin latte was not my favorite, but I am picky about my pumpkin, so I’d still give it a try if you enjoy fall flavors! I recommend going early if there is a pastry you are specifically interested in trying because they tend to sell out of a lot of baked goods. I’m looking forward to trying their pretzel roll on a day. I’m able to get there earlier before they sell out! It’s a little hard to read the signs for the menu when there’s alot of people in line, but they have a ton of yummy treats and a wide variety of coffee flavors. Service is quick and friendly. No indoor shopping, you order at a walk up window.

Excellent food, careless service. Check that your pastries/croissants are not burnt before you leave
Edit:
Day 2.
Went second morning in a roll.
Purchased parm leek croissant and salted caramel cookie for my journey. Excellent cookie. They offered to heat the croissant. Base of croissant was burnt but the staff decided to pack it up anyway, with the burnt base facing up. Why would you knowingly pack burnt food for a takeaway, wasting a customer’s money.
Day 1. Got the ham and broccoli cheese quiche, and cheddar ham biscuit. Girl at counter taking order was helpful in offering to warm up the quiche cancelling my pretzel order when I realise there was quiche.
Girl handling out the orders could do with a little more initiative.
Pastries are moreish. Finished up and left no crumbs. Literally.

Great little bakery for a quick snack detour off of a road trip! The scones, muffins & cupcakes are fabulous. Outside window pickup with 2 small tables during warmer weather. I got the last strawberry, chocolate chip scone with a chai latte & delicious as always!
