Worst Subway in the history of Subways.
I would rate this location lesser stars if I could they are always out of everything, you order a meatball sub and they haven’t had meatballs since meatballs were first created. The toaster is broken so hope you like your hot sub at subarctic temperatures. Whoever does the food ordering for this place should either be trained or fired. I hate coming to this location especially when I am running short on time, but it is one of the few only options on post.

Went at early lunch around 11:30 so everyone should have fresh but the veggies looked dehydrated and left over. Lettuce dripping in lettuce juice. Absolutely disgusting! Dirty counter. Avoid unless you’re cool with food poisoning

The food was fantastic, place was clean (at least Subway’s portion of the gas station was) and everything was stocked well.

Biggest complaint was the employees. We (there were three of us) came in about two o’clock. The two women were sitting in chairs at the end of the line, one of them on their phones. Both chatting. They see us and instantly RBF’d. Cool, I get it, you don’t wanna work, whatever, slap a somewhat cheerful demanor on, cause you’re in food service. Both women were curt and spoke with small sentences.

That being said, they were professional, made our food well, and, when it turns out I didn’t have my debit card like I thought I did, tried to cancel our order so that I could have time to find my card and the groups behind us could pay for their food.

In short, food is good, but don’t expect great customer service

As a former subway manager, I have to compliment Aaliyah. She had a very long line of anxiously hungry customers and she used the best time management I have ever seen. She is absolutely great at what she does and I know I could not have pref that off with such skill. Thank you for the timely and yummy lunch!!

Got food poisoning. Called to tell them, she said there was nothing she could do, I would have to talk to the manager tomorrow. Really? I don’t care to talk to a manager – throw the chicken away so no one else gets sick!!! She acted as if a light bulb went off when I said that, as if she didn’t plan to throw it away until I said that. It’s dirty in there, I should have known better than to go to a gas station subway.

If you want to admire the gas station, this place is for you. If you want food, go somewhere else. Average 10-15 minutes to make 1 sandwich. Been twice, haven’t been able to eat.I’m rating the food as 2 because I like Subway and assume they’re all pretty much the same.

I got the all meat tomato & basil wrap. It was good. However.. I found online that Subways give 10% discounts for seniors. They would NOT honor this. Clerk said they give military discounts & my husband showed her his DL showing he was a Veteran… again NO! He left with our sandwiches
& handed me the receipt.
I looked at it & it stated,
“If we don’t ask if you want you sandwich Deluxe, get a free cookie!”
They didn’t and we didn’t!
I also stated on the receipt, “10% off any item”
equalled 0.00. This was on Benton Blvd in Pooler, Ga at the Shell station, just off I95.
Being Seniors, & with the price of everything increasing 20-30%, (except our S.S. checks, which we STILL have to pay taxes on!) we
need to get every deal we can. By Subway advertising they give Seniors discounts is fraud. We WILL NOT be back to THAT Subway!

We noticed how unfresh the food looked. We asked for soups but has bacon. I asked if we coukd have it without bacon, she said no. As my husband decided I asked for kid’s sandwich as i always do. The bread she tried to use was round like a meatball. Never been offered that before. We decided to leave and went to Jimmy Johns instead. Never again.

The food is good, but this place is severely understaffed. There is always a substantial line because only one person works at a time. At least two people should be working back there, and maybe then the staff would be more friendly.
