Such a great omakase spot. The meal starts with a fun mini fire show, then you’re treated to 15 courses,sushi apps, nigiri, a hand roll, and dessert. Everything was super fresh and well done.

Upon entering this restaurant, it may appear empty, but don’t let that discourage you. The experience is truly exceptional. I visited on a Sunday evening, arriving a little before my 6:15 PM reservation to enjoy dinner with a friend. The intimate atmosphere and attentive service made for an outstanding experience, especially since we were the only guests in the restaurant for a while. We received personalized attention, and I can confidently say the service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly, engaging, and took the time to converse with us, making the evening even more enjoyable.
The sushi was absolutely delicious. I’ve been to multiple Omakase experiences throughout New York, and I’m thrilled to add this one to my list of favorites. Since it was my friend’s first time trying sushi, we made the staff aware, and they went above and beyond by explaining every piece in detail and even showing him pictures of the fish each piece came from. I am so grateful for that level of thoughtful, personalized service.
I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking a fun, intimate, delicious, and memorable dining experience.

I SWEAR THIS IS WORTH THE PRICE !! The attention is amazing, 2 chefs working right in front of you and food is ready sooo quick. The sushi is URGH amazing, super creative and everyone around me told me this had been their favourite omakase yet. NOTHING could have made this better, it was an amazing place, quality food and great chefs.

Amazing omakase, been to at least 20 omakase spots in NYC and this one has the freshest cuts of fish. Simply prepared, classic with subtle additions. Fun atmosphere, BYOB, highly recommend. 1 hr 15 min seating, $85 for several courses.

Kaki was amazing. Chef Eric made the whole experience super fun and welcoming. The sushi was really fresh with fish flown in from Japan, and every course was spot on. Honestly one of the best omakase deals in the city — 15 courses for $85 is hard to beat. Definitely a place I’d go back to.

Out of all the budget sushi spots, this and shinn east are the top two. The king salmon appetizer and indian-stylen corn fritter with chopped fish on the inside were innovative and delicious. Furthermore, each sushi piece was delicious. Highlights were the fluke and fluke fin fat, the generous piece of scallop with truffle, and the soy black cod.
The otoro, chutoro, and wagyu pieces were top notch as well.

I recently had the omakase at Kaki, and it was an amazing experience! For $75, you get 15 delicious bites, each crafted with care and attention to detail. The quality was top-notch, and every piece was flavorful and fresh.
One highlight is that they offer free house sake with your meal, which was a great complement to the sushi. On top of that, the restaurant accepts BYOD, making it even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the food was so good that I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

I had a great experience here at this Omakase place. The food was great and the service was amazing. This was a BYOB restaurant. You could bring your own booze but when we were sitting at the bar the staff offered us sake as well. Amazing presentation and interesting sushi combos. The price to quality at this restaurant was AMAZING! I highly recommend it.
