Spider rolls were good and fresh.
Chicken lettuce wraps I have to say the worst I’ve ever had. Hoisin sauce and romaine lettuce have never had from any Asian or Asian fusion restaurant and it not a good combination. Lettuce wraps need crisp iceberg lettuce and definitely not hoisin sauce.
Vegetable spring rolls were fresh.
Boneless duck portion was ridiculously small for $27.
Overall: portions ridiculously small, even the rice that came with the boneless duck was in the smallest container ever made. Cheapest packaging containers that can’t be reused. Still can’t get over them sending hoisin sauce and romaine lettuce with chicken lettuce wraps. Hard pass on reordering from Taka Asian Fusion.
Recommendations:
Shanghai You in Garden City. You get half a roast duck for $21.95. My husband is a huge duck eater and he says after Liberty Avenue in Jamaica or Flushing this is the best place for duck.
T.O.A in Farmingdale has the best chicken lettuce wraps, large portions, and the best sustainable/reusable packaging I’ve ever received from any restaurant.
Whenever I’m craving sushi for dinner (more often than not), I don’t even question whether the >20 minute drive is worth it. I always get the TRIO SUSHI (replacing the tuna roll with a spicy salmon roll).
Highly recommend.
