Every item of our order came out excellent here. Very well done! We ordered vegetarian sandwiches, veg soups and veg salad. Tried Cranberry walnut bread and focaccia etc. Surprised by the consistent great quality! Must visit bakery in the mall. Service was pretty fast too, with friendly staff. Looks like lot of artisan bread varieties are out of stock by noon. So order ahead.

We just stopped at the mall on our road trip and just happened to see this bakery as we were leaving the mall and ended up ordering like 6 things. The food all looked very good and the options were unique enough that it didn’t feel like a standard bakery. They hat hot and cold options and both sweet and savory. The service was fine and the food all tasted very good. The fruit danishes were unique and good but the center was a custard vs a cream cheese which was different but good. The bread on everything was soft and fresh not too dense or dry. The jalapeno polish dog and strawberry lemonade were very good too. The prices were about $5 per item for most thing except some of the hot sandwiches that were closer to 10ish which based on my experience is within acceptable expectations. Not sure where many of these negative comments are coming from but reading some, they are overly dramatic and not representative. Service was good, line wasn’t long, food was good, and well stocked for a Sunday at 1pm. Highly recommend giving it a shot!

UPDATE!!! Please fix the broken blades on your bread slicing machine. Why on earth would just wait weeks for blades??? Your bread comes out, sliced as Texas toast.

Please, please please train your employees to open your store on time every day. Every time I visit your store, your employees wait 5 to 10 minutes after your stated opening time to open your location. Buy them watches or put a clock in the store.

I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service I received. Despite standing in line, I was ignored multiple times by the manager at the register, who proceeded to serve the customer behind me without any acknowledgment. This behavior felt discriminatory and is completely unacceptable. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed appropriately.

Not very welcoming staff, it feels like we should be thanking them for giving them our business. Nevertheless we ordered 6 different items including coffee, croissant, cross bread, cheese danish pastry, blueberry muffin, and some type of eclair pastry. I tasted each and every one, didnt want to waste any food. None tasted any different from the other. They all tasted bland even the chocolate frosting. Even the coffee was bad. I cannot recommend anything. Will be thinking really hard if we will give it another chance.

There was a long line when we visited, but decided to try it out. We bought the baguette sandwich special 2 for $12.50, the raspberry cheese Danish, mango creme Danish pastry, and the garlic cheese bread. Everything was tasty, except the banh mi wasn’t very filling. We were also charged $13.50 which was a dollar more than advertised for the baguette sandwich special.

Food was pretty good. They did seem to forget to make a sandwich for us, but when we told them it came out in almost less than a minute. Clam chowder is slightly salty at first, but tastes pretty good after one or two more sips.

Extremely rude behavior of staff, both at the Pleasanton and San Ramon stores. Very disrespectful and impatient. Poor training and they expect occasional visitors to be completely familiar with their process, even though there were no crowds when I visited. I’ll be avoiding these unhealthy carbs with the added dose of unwholesome behavior.
