The food here is good and the flavors are consistent, but the pricing is frustrating. The poster outside lists certain prices for the dishes, but when you go to pay inside, the price ends up being higher. When I asked about it, I was told the prices had changed, yet the poster with the menu still shows the old prices.

I think if prices go up, the menu or poster should be updated so customers know what to expect before ordering. Charging more than what’s displayed feels misleading. The food itself is decent, but for what you actually end up paying, it feels very overpriced. Plus once you receive the receipt it doesn’t specify what you bought. Just gives you the price which is misleading

I needed a quick lunch, but I wanted to sit down and have a GOOD lunch, as well, so I tried Don Pedro for the first time today.
The ground beef Burrito Macho was absolutely DELICIOUS and an excellent value for $11.50. It was almost more than I could finish.
The service was fast and the dining area very clean. I will definitely eat here again without any hesitation.

I love Don Pedros tacos, I order from them at least 3-4 times a week. My go to orders are asada tacos, side of fries, and occasionally legua tacos. As you can see they pack your tacos with meat and I love it.

Do yourself a favor and go down the street to el Jefes. This place used to be great, but has been slipping to the point I will no longer be going. Ordered a Chorizo/Bacon breakfast burrito minus the Potatoes. I swear you can get a bigger burrito from Jack in the Box up the street. This thing was a taquito and they wanted $12 for it. I should have just drove on thru and left it.

My partner wanted tacos, so we decided to try this place out since it is nearby our home. We ordered six taco @$3.00 each (2 carne, 2 pollo), and a carne asada torta @$9.00 – total came out to $30.00 a/ the tip included.

For the amount of money I spent, I kind of expected a little more flavor – and better food quality – it’s literally overpriced street food. Their carne asada was extremely overcooked and bland, their torta had very protein added and little to no mayo which made the torta dry.

I’ve had better Mexican street food from a run down taco truck. I do not recommend! The only good thing about this restaurant was their salsa bar.

Awesome breakfast burritos! Super fresh hash browns and your choice of meat. The pico de gallo has some jalapenos so it adds a bit of spice if you add that to your burrito. Several house made hot sauces at the salsa bar. All the local firefighters go here so you know it has to be good. Kudos.

Very nice place.
Tiny, 4 tables and 4 booths, and if it’s busy, I see how tight it would be.
Don’t let that keep you away,
Food was great,
I had the Taco’s 1 beef 1 pork.
Both are big and tasty.
A taco is my goto trying out a new place.
Worth the money and time.

Just not good at all. I was really disappointed and I always want to give generous reviews, but today I truly cannot. I did not even finish eating my torta. Totally soggy and I ate it immediately after recieving it…it was too greasy, Carne asada? Shameful. It was expensive for 3 items, 2 entrees and a side…Sorry but I won’t be back.

I really only go here for the breakfast burritos, I haven’t eaten at a table here. I ordered two burritos no meat, the cost is 17.00 for both. Update the price on site. I have had the chorizo or bacon on burritos before which are good too, but just prefer the no meat.

This is the most legit Mexican restaurant we have found so far in Vancouver. We moved from CA but a couple of years ago, and one of the things we have most missed since arriving is good Mexican food, which is a practically a staple back in our previous state.

Everyone knows that the best restaurants are the small, dingy-looking ones and Don Pedro fits that description very well. It’s a pretty small area with a few tables and booths to sit, with a TV in the corner playing telenuevas and a load grill in the back.

There menu is large. You can find pretty much any kind of Mexican food that you like, with any kind of meat that you like. I usually go with the web burrito which does not disappoint.

My wife loves this place and tries to get us to go here whenever we decide to go out. In my own opinion, the food is good, but not the best I’ve ever had, therefore I cannot give it the full 5 stars, but if like us you crave good Mexican food (which is tough to find in this very Americana town) then give Don Pedro a try.
