Stumbled upon The Centredale when in the area and looking for a place to have an early dinner. We had the steak and cheese egg rolls for an appetizer and they were delicious. Hubby had The Dutton Burger and he was not disappointed. I had the BLT with chicken and advacado. The bacon was thick and crispy and the chicken juicy. We ordered a side of fries to share and they were perfectly seasoned and just the right crispness. Next time we will each order our own! We both loved the velvet wallpaper and chandelier lighting. Service was great. We will return. We previewed the menu online and it was slightly different than the restaurant one.

This has to be the best hidden gem in the northern part of RI. The food is outstanding. Smash burger and fries with string bean side were excellent. Entrees are very good. Music many nights, check website. Nice large bar scene and the decor is fabulous.

The aesthetic is tasteful and reminds me of a good time at Nana’s, old school yet new school feels. I love the chandeliers and the felt like wallpaper (no really, feel the walls, they’re velvety). I ordered the Centredale burger and it was a delicious double patty drizzled with homemade sauce, a true smash burger at its finest, every bite is tasty and holy, you get a lot of fries and they’re double fried and very crispy. We also ordered Grandma’s pizza for an appetizer and it was phenomenal. We had to make reservations in order to get a table, and had to find street parking so if you have a reservation leave a little earlier to find a spot. Our waitress was a sweetheart, very attentive and suggested a good dinner. We will definitely be back for more, it’s a nice spot for a date night and they also have events like trivia and with late night menus available till 9:30-close Mon-Thu and 10:00-close Fri-Sat. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

Was having a glass of wine with my friend while enjoying the lounge style singer entertaining a birthday party. Everything was going great until a cockroach crawled down the pillar at the end of the bar next to us. I asked the bartender for a napkin, pointed to the cockroach, quickly squashed it and told the bartender to show her boss. I don’t think she understood the gravity of the situation. I used to enjoy coming here. Can’t say I will be going back.

It breaks my heart to update this review but it needs to be said: standards have dropped.
We used to come here all the time and really enjoyed the old menu. A few weeks ago we came in and saw all of my favorites had been cut (including the milinase pictured in my earlier review). It makes no sense that you can keep chicken Parm, but not the others.
Drink quality has also taken a hit.
This used to be a lovely date night within walking distance. Now it’s an overpriced mediocre menu with a nice decor.
Note that depending who serves you, you will either have a great or horrible time.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I found a sharp shard of a toothpick in my salad after only two bites. This is a serious food safety concern with the potential for choking or injury.
I immediately brought it to the attention of the manager. Unfortunately, the issue was shrugged off and not taken seriously. The response was a 10% discount ($6) on a $13 salad, which felt dismissive given the nature of the contamination.
As someone in healthcare, I take contamination and safety very seriously. This situation was not handled with the level of care or concern it warranted. A foreign object in food should prompt accountability, not minimization.
I hope management reevaluates their food preparation practices and how concerns like this are addressed in the future, as guest safety should always be a priority.

Delicious food, excellent service. The space itself is really nice, very comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend. Great option for locals and visitors in town center.
