Reviews
The service is just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes dining here even more enjoyable as a family. If you’re looking for outstanding Korean BBQ, this is the place. You don’t need to go all the way to Koreatown to enjoy incredible Korean barbecue—Seoul Barbecue delivers it right here in La Cañada.
I’ve personally been in more than 5 dozen BBQ places, and i can make an affirmative statement that it’s ripped off. I barely really enjoyed the meat since it was very limited and not sure why it was advertised as premium. Anyways, veggies were alright. The fact that food was limited wasn’t alright. We’ve paid for allegedly enough meals to cover 2 – 3 people where, in any other place, i would be welcome to order some more. Folks here want you’re Benjamin’s and funds for whatever they are feeling right to server.
They will also cutter for you and give you some little fire. Wack
Ended up spending $200 meal for two for two regular weight adults…
BONUS: During peak Friday/weekend hours we just come here to avoid the LONG LONG wait at other k-bbq spots such as Gen Korean BBQ House in Glendale (1hr 45min wait).
Decent banchan and good meat quality. Wouldn’t say it’s top choice but does the deed.
No issues with customer service as others had mentioned. The Seoul Cham Soot BBQ
team promptly changed the grill and brought items we need to re-up on.
We mainly come here when people are in town. It’s just so much easier than driving 30-40 minutes through traffic.
No reservation was needed to dine here; parking which is shared with other businesses is ample and free. Front desk customer service is not 5 star but you don’t expect it in a small kitchen like this where all staff are busy; we came here for dinner and we were seated immediately; side sauces are clean and filled up; the ambience is fair, spacing is a bit condensed; cutlery, table and floor are clean; decor and styling is fair; noise level average is 71 decibels; close to other Korean businesses and Ross. 2 to 3 pages of menu items with separate listing for lunch. Wait time to be served is a blistering 2 minutes and 30 seconds. We ordered a beef meat combo that is good for 4 person. Presentation is fair to good with good portion sizes; the aroma is the best, your food is being grilled in front of you so this takes the trophy. The hotness and doneness will be decided by you so don’t blame anyone for this. They have a lot of side dishes with different levels of saltiness, sweetness, umami, spiciness, texture and balance.
Overall, the food is excellent with good price-to-value ratio; I highly recommend the food and this restaurant.
On a side note, if they see you struggle with grilling (or you don’t look Korean enough ) they would stop by every 2 -3 minutes to grill the meat for you; this alone is a 5-star service in my book.
