We’re from Kentucky but had some business to do in New Albany. We were there pretty early, around 9:30am, and a lot of restaurants weren’t open until 10:30am or later but we found Mannings and they opened at 10am. We were not disappointed!! Everything was soooo good!! If we have to go back to New Albany we will definitely be taking a couple racks of ribs home with us!! We got a rack of ribs, coleslaw, potato salad, a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on it, nachos, and 2 drinks. It was about $66 and it was well worth it! If you’re in the area check these guys out!

I stopped here a couple of weeks ago because I was in New Albany for work and discovered Mannings via Google maps. When I pulled up the smoke was in the air and it smelled delicious! This place is really cool because over in the corner of the parking lot you can see the entire process from a stack of logs, to log splitter, to stacking the wood, to the smokers…. the food was great and the 2 young ladies at the counter were nice. I’ll definitely stop here every chance I get to come to New Albany.

OMG!!! My husband got the rib plate and the meat fell off the damn bone. Baked beans had pulled pork in them, perfect! Cole slaw was creamy and delicious, homemade done right. We will be returning!!

Some of the best pulled pork I’ve had in a long time. Slightly sweet sauce which is perfect for me. I don’t believe they have options. Homemade coleslaw was fabulous. Creamy. And they’re baked beans were out of this world. Would definitely go back.

I saw a employee walk in the front door start working the cash register and then working in the kitchen, waiting tables never bothered to was hands before handling food after handling money in the cash register and the girl that was working there handling food in same manner a bit rude also… when she brought my food to me she plopped down on the table rudely. The service was terrible. the pull pork plate was small portion for the cost of the food. My first time and last time for me at this restaurant.

The food is affordable and it is fresh. The food is cooked on an outside grill, so you already know it’s going to be fresh and taste amazing. The workers here are polite and make the place more alive. They come by and ask how the food is and if you need anything. I would recommend this place if you love fresh off the grill food.

Driving on interstate 22, we found this hole in the wall restaurant. Excellent barbecue pork. Good value. My wife and I got two pork sandwich plates for less than $20.
