I can only base my review on one visit. However, the food was good, and so was the service and the atmosphere. My parents come here all the time and they love it. I definitely enjoyed walking around looking at and taking pictures of all of the unique signs and antiques that they have hanging all over the walls. The servers were all dressed up for Halloween and were very attentive and polite. I had the prime rib hoagie, and the meat was very tender. The frys were fresh, cut, and awesome, and the salads were fresh. It was also nice to be at a restaurant with a bar where the bar was not loud and distracting while we were trying to eat. Good restaurant, good food, good service and good atmosphere. Hopefully, we’ll be back sometime when we’re in the area.

First time diners and will definitely be back. Worth the drive. Food was delicious and our server Ashley was amazing! She helped suggest a few good items and was able to modify my mom’s side dish request that was not a side order option. She also told us about the Widespread Country Market that’s connected to them and opened late 2023. Will have to check it out the next time since they were already closed.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. This is very much a local rural place. The atmosphere, patrons, and decor reflect that. This is not a health food place, but the food is delicious. Lots of good beers on tap, as well as a good selection of wines. We had the breaded and fried chicken livers and oysters. They were done to perfection although the breading was a bit over the top. Also had good salad and shrimp dishes. Services was excellent even though there was only one person to serve about 15 customers.

We have been driving for years on our way to Frederick. We decided to stop on a Sunday. Fairly nice crowd. Restaurant and bar were clean, music was playing and it looked inviting.
My wife had shrimp. I ate a nice salad with a side of Broccoli. It was prepared well and tasted great.
We also visited the general store next door, what a pleasant surprise…it is long overdue.

Came while visiting family on a Saturday night, and 3/5 of us got the prime rib special only available on Fridays and Saturdays. What a huge meal for a great price! Perfectly med-rare steak and good sides to accompany, plus a crab cake on the side. The cheese curds make a great appetizer. The staff was incredibly friendly and they have good beers on tap as well. Will definitely be coming again when I am in town.

Food was good, the fried pickles were nice and crispy and the sauce was flavorful. My wife got a buffalo chicken wrap and I got the cheese burger. Both were seasoned well and cooked nicely. My fries were a bit over cooked but my wifes were fine. All in all, good experience. We moved to the area 6 months ago and will return again in the future. The ladies working were friendly and service was good.

Food used to be really good but seems to have fallen off a bit. I also used to like the staff here, they were friendly but some of the newer staff are more interested in getting you fed and out the door. My wife and I have frequented this place for years, it’s close to our house and we really liked grabbing food and drinks here often, but since the decline in food quality and service quality were looking for a new place. Hope they make some corrections and we can enjoy this place again.

Went for a lazy Sunday drive and stopped by this place. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the ingredients and how well e everything was prepared. Had the soup of the day: beef vegetable, Buffalo chicken wrap and French dip. Look forward to stopping by next time I’m in this neck of the woods.

Our waitress, Alecia, was so nice and pleasant. We enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere and the food was very good. We ate outdoors cause indoors was definitely loud for us in terms of the music so we may only be around for outdoor dining. We were sorry we missed Katie who mentioned the place to me via FB.
