I recently had dinner at Los Primos #2 in Rio Vista, and overall, it was a great experience. I ordered the Beef Fajitas and the Tiger Enchiladas, and both dishes were packed with flavor and made with care.
The beef fajitas came out sizzling hot on the skillet, just the way they should. The meat was tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly, with a nice smoky flavor from the grill. The onions and bell peppers were cooked to a soft texture while still keeping a bit of crunch, and the portion size was generous. The tortillas were warm and fresh, and the side of rice and beans complemented the meal well.
The Tiger Enchiladas were a pleasant surprise — rich, cheesy, and full of flavor. The sauce had a nice balance of spice and tang, and the enchiladas were well-filled without being soggy. Everything tasted freshly made, and the presentation was clean and appetizing.
The service was friendly and attentive. Our server checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed and kept our drinks filled. The restaurant itself was clean, well-lit, and had a cozy, family-style atmosphere that made it comfortable to dine in.
The only downside was that the food took a little longer to come out than expected, but it was clear that everything was being made fresh, which made the wait worthwhile.
Overall, Los Primos #2 is a great spot for authentic Mexican food in Rio Vista. The quality, flavors, and friendly service make it worth the visit. I’d definitely come back again to try more from their menu!

We’ve eaten there before but for some reason, tonight hit the spot! We wanted to eat light so I ordered the fish tacos and my wife ordered the stuffed avocados. Wow! The food was very good.
Not our first time there and definitely will not be our last!

We ordered here for a 2nd time last night, one time going in and this is our first pickup order. We ordered 3 full nacho plates, 2 ground beef, and 1 bean and cheese. The plates were ready pretty quickly, so that’s a plus, but when we got the food home (less than a 2 minute drive) the nachos were dripping with grease. The bottom of the containers were literally drowning in oil. The meals came with a side of salsa and chips, which again, was a nice plus. But, the salsa had zero heat, and the chips were again, super oily. Some were covered in a seasoning and some were just plain, they tasted almost burnt, especially with the seasoning.
I get they’re nachos and probably made to order chips, but the amount of grease was insane for such a small portion compared to price..
The girls in the front were nice, so no complaint there, and the atmosphere seemed really neat, just the food is honestly bad. This is the second time we’ve tried them, so I think I’m okay without returning.

We were here Feb.7 between 3and4 pm. There were two servers working their butts off. The young lady working was actually running between the patio, bar and entrance taking orders and delivering food. Chris was taking orders and cashing out orders. Those two were staying on top of things ! We had combination fajitas for two. It was very flavorful and tender.

Good chips and hot sauce! I highly recommend the Tiger enchiladas, cheese enchiladas with cheese sauce and steak, with really good rice and beans!
They had a guy singing and playing guitar and harmonica that was really good and not too loud!

Good food, great service and Reasonable prices. Full bar and live music on the patio on weekends. I had the chicken enchiladas ($10.99) with sour cream and Verde sauce (spicy) and the wife had the Tiger Enchiladas ($11.99). Both were very good. Chips and salsa are complimentary. With 2 ice teas our price before tip was $32.60. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Cheyenne our server was very attentive. Will be coming back soon.

We had Camarones Diablo as pictured, which was fabulous. The shrimp were fresh, and the Diablo sauce was very spicy hot, like 3-4 on a scale of 5 hotness. Our server was friendly but disappeared after the food was delivered. Not even to give us our check. I do not recommend the beef fajitas at all. I received 3 overcooked meat sticks and a tiny amount of onions with one faint sliver of green bell pepper. This resulted in a way lower score than I usually give.

Had a wonderful experience at Los Primos! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our server, Christina, was absolutely amazing—super sweet, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The service was top-notch from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be coming back!
